First things first, think of this as a “Lodge” typical of small towns in South India and you will be okay. One needs to emphasize this because the expectation of a Lodge is more basic than expectations you would set for a hotel: smaller rooms, fewer amenities. It is basically a place to crash out for the night. Nothing more, nothing less.||||Now that I have set the expectation, a bit about the location. The hotel is in a prominent location, opposite Mysore Medical college and adjacent to Ayurveda College. From the lodge, it is easy to access most tourist spots including the Palace, Mysore zoo, Philomena’s church and even Cauvery emporium. ||||As others have pointed out, the staff is attentive, observant and helpful.
