I recently tried the biryani at A1 Biryani House in Mysore, and while the flavor was good, I have to admit that the overwhelming spiciness left me with mixed feelings.
First, the positives: the biryani itself was tasty, with a rich blend of spices that added depth to the dish. The meat (or vegetable) was tender and well-cooked, and the portion size was quite generous, making it a satisfying meal.
However, my main concern was the extreme level of spiciness. I do enjoy a bit of heat in my food, but the spiciness at A1 Biryani House was almost overpowering. It might be a challenge for those who aren't accustomed to such high levels of spice. I'd strongly recommend requesting a milder version if you can't handle excessive heat.
The ambiance of the restaurant was decent, suitable for a casual meal. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly, which made the dining experience more pleasant.
In summary, if you're a spice enthusiast and can handle intense heat in your biryani, A1 Biryani House might be worth a visit. However, for those with a lower tolerance for spiciness, it's essential to exercise caution. While the flavor was good, the overwhelming spiciness led me to rate this restaurant with...
Read moreBased on reviews I decided to try this out. I bought mutton biryani. 260rs a plate as on sep 2021. The qty is huge. Easily feeds 2persons. Also the pieces were pretty good. Around 6 big pieces. The mutton was very well marinated and was cooked well. The rice qty was also pretty good. Very soft and unbroken rice grains. Each bite had amazing flavours filling the mouth. Really one of the best real authentic biryani(mughal style). Only negative is it was way too hot. Not sure if they do it spicy everyday or i ended up getting on a spicy day. But couldnt handle the spice. Still didnt give up. ;) Restuarant is ok ok. Looks like family restuarant. Once in a while...
Read moreProbably the perfect hyderabadi biryani you can get in Mysore. It's rich, flavourful, spicy and tastes authentic. Must try biryani. Meat was tender. Although it wasn't juicy it had flavours of the masala. Guess it was well marinated. If you can't handle spices, this would be a little difficult on your butt whole the next day😂 must mention is thier quantity. They serve a very big portion. I was damn hungry when I visited so I could eat it full. If I would have eaten some starters i wouldn't have been able to eat them all. Service is negligent. Enjoy...
