The oldest biryani spot in Mysuru as the subtitle says "Since 1930". Was excited to taste the authentic biryani/Palav at this place. Unfortunately, the Palav was not up to expectations as flavours were very very subtle be it with the Palav or Sherwah. Flavors had to be mined out of the Palav as there was hardly any in it. Few mutton pieces were uncooked and few cooked. The pieces were slightly hard to chew on. But definitely the Palav was very light to the stomach. That’s the best part!! Pepper chicken was good with the required spices and masala. Kebab pieces were tender and soft with good flavor & taste. It deserves all the praises, because I have never tasted such amazing mutton pulao, the mutton literally melted in my mouth.. They serve you in a leaf plate (not a banana leaf) which was very unique. The quantity was really good for 1.5 person, but then the deliciousness of the food forces you to finish it by yourself. 😋And their chilly chicken was also amazing, it's a special mysore style dish. I was only had mutton pulav it was really great taste with mutton Sambar .. I loved it ( Even the mutton Sambar also good taste when we drink separately) .. mutton was felt completely fresh and tasty … the space is congested and difficult to get table when peak time .. two small rooms separated for families.. friendly staff .. digital payment available.. close to main road .. during my visit I was got parking for my four wheeler easily near hotel … overall good experience..few picks...
