Hotel Sanman Deluxe — Hotel in Karnataka

Hotel Sanman is in dire need of rennovation and upliftment. Contradictory to what is claimed by the Hotel, Sanman is no where close to a two star hotel. Factors such as the Hotel staff not knowing their own WiFi password, Breakfast limited to Ala Carte and an allowance of Rs.200/Per person, above which is billed, room ceilings peeling off, Cobwebs in the hotel corridors, poor air conditioning (only window AC) housekeeping and Reception are absolutely backwards in communication, absence of noise cancelling windows, meaning that traffic sounds can be heard 5 floors up, furthermore the rule of hot water being available only from 6:00 AM to 12:00PM, poor menu selection and absence of non-veg(Con for some) all contribute to the above mentioned preceding sentence. Bathroom amenities and fittings are extremely old, worn out and out of date, the toilet rolls are halfed and the soaps and shampoos are rationed to only one per room, which is very a mizorly act. Urge the concerned authorities to kindly look into if the said hotel is still worth of Two Stars. Hotel Sanman not even in competition with other 2 star hotels and the amenities and services they provide. A lot can be done considering the hotel occupies a prime location in the city and if worked on without a doubt could...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 days with my family. Overall I feel 'Delux' is an over statement for this hotel as this is simply a budget hotel.

Pros:

1. Location is convenient
2. Room are sufficiently large and not claustrophobic
3. Clean Rooms and Linen provided

Cons:

1. No Parking (Either you park in the open or in a dilapidated building next door which hotel claims it is their parking)
2. Staff though friendly is untrained and not professional (Simple water bottle and glass takes 1.5 hours to be sent to your room)
3. Breakfast is a joke (You get 250 Rs per room to order food that you like. Anything over 250 and you need to pay. Don't even think of breakfast buffet.
4. You cannot add room service bills to your room. Bills need to be cleared as Hotel and Room Service operate independently (Or was the reason given)
5. No Hot Water before 6 am or in the evening
6. The lobby is frequented by Cat/Dogs as any Plates/Cups kept outside the room in the night will be vandalised and the entire floor lobby stinks. Not enough staff to clean, so the garbage stays for some time.

In Short a budget place if you need to take care of things in the city. I would not recommend it if you can...
