Saffron Vegetarian Cuisine — Restaurant in Karnataka

The food was good , very nice , but what made me uncomfortable was the waiters were literally romaing around our table when we already said we'd call them if we need something!! after having the food , we ordered the desert and we were taking our time to have it , but 3-4 waiters just kept coming to out table and looking at us making us uncomfortable. I dont know if they wanted us to leave soon bcz we were having the dessert slowly or what !!! There was absolutely no crowd at all, yet they looked at us as if we were takign a lot of time an we were making the other people wait bt there was so crowd... there were another group of friends who were waiting before us and did not levae until we did . When they can sit and talk and gossip , why can't me and my friend ?? Me n my frnd has just met after an year , so thought the ambience was good in saffron so lets meet there. But I was disappointed the way the waiters gave us looks , for us to leave soon...

The best...that's the most relevant words that can be given to this resturant. Tasty food, beautiful ambience and very helpful staff. We were hosted by the owner himself, a very nice and courteous person, helped us explore some new dishes. It is hard to choose one dish under any of the section of the menu is quite difficult as every dish seems mouthwatering and really is. Ranging from regular Indian cuisine to Italian and Mexican cuisine, from tasty starters to delicious ice cream flavors is rare to find under one roof. Saffron offers that. Must try are the Tacos. Also present is the party hall in the first floor. Spread over two floors, Saffron is spacious and comfortable to enjoy a hearty meal. This restaurant is located not just in Belagavi, but it's branches are available in Bangalore and Udupi. Must try restaurant in case your are in any of these places. I must say that Saffron Restaurants are quite famous in Belgaum city. But in the recent days Saffron has lost its charm and quality. The quality of food isn't as good as it used to be. There are various new restaurants being opened up in the city in which most of them are serving some really high quality food.

Let me tell about my last visit. We had ordered cream of veg soup. It was very thick and literally tasted like milk cream with butter in it and nothing else. And there were no veggies in the soup except beans. Where as if you visit Copper Leaf bar and restaurant they serve the same soup which will be far better with all of exotic veggies.

Next thing we ordered was Malasian Sizzler. In mean the description the Malasian contained Nasi Goreing Rice with panner satay. But they give us something else, fried rice with some tikki whose stuffing wasn't even fresh and seemed like it was...
