The standard room with AC : Rs 2500 per day- in June. I'll give you the CONS first, given the high ratings. 1.Area: It is at the heart of the town. That means, it is at the most busiest but the most congested part of the area. The building is at a very narrow alley and mind you, there is one vehicle always blocking the short, dingy, steep, parking entrance to the apartment. 2. Parking: It has a basement parking facility with comfortable parking just for 4 vehicles. 1 car is permanently parked there or something by the staff (i guess). So 1 car can be parked in the driveway for convenience. 3. Room: There are gnats in the room. The room has mosquito nets installed, but they skipped the bathroom windows. So the gnats are making their way through from the drains or bathroom window. (shown in the image). Caution: Lizards can also make it through. Gaps under the door can also let insects in. 4. View: There is no view for the standard room. (window view in image). 5. It is very noisy at night; believe me late into the night and very early in the morning. Walls are very thin and there is no sound insulation. say goodbye to a good night sleep.
Now for the Pros:
Overall, I would say, it is a utility apartment-hotel. Not apt for a comfy getaway. Very over-priced for the facilities. My 1STAR is for the very nice staff they have employed. So if you are looking for a quiet-cozy-lazy-romantic holiday stay, this might not be the one for you. But if you are one sight-enthusiast, you can head here, stay the night and rush to your landmarks in a heartbeat.
I booked this hotel for two days on 20.10.25 & 21.10.25. The property is very good, but unfortunately the staffs are equally bad. The behavior of the manager is most unprofessional and the way he behaves with customers, will definitely harm the reputation of the property. I booked the hotel in the month of July'25 when GST was 12% for hotels and now the GST is reduced to 5%. So, they should have charge GST @5%, but the manager insisted that he will not give bill and I will have to pay the consolidated amount, which was calculated @12%. I asked him to provide GST bill, he refused to provide that and keep on arguing for three hours. Ultimately, when the owner of the property came, he understood the matter and agreed to revise the amount on current GST rate. I have also doubt about the integrity of the staffs. If the owner does not give proper attention, in future, this will affect the reputation of the business. I failed to mention that when I refused to make payment without bill, they call local police for more harassment. What I have written has proof, I am 67 years old and I was harassed like anything, till the owner intervene.
When the hotel management has clarified their stand, it is my duty to give more information, which will help future customers of this property.
Exceptional Hospitality at Navrathna Comforts, Coorg
My stay at Navrathna Comforts in Coorg was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and courtesy of the staff made me feel instantly at home. Their politeness and unwavering commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction truly stood out.
The property is impeccably maintained, offering clean, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms that cater to every need. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it an ideal retreat after a day of exploring Coorg's stunning landscapes. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the quality of service provided here exceeds expectations.
One of the standout aspects of my experience was the staff’s flexibility. Whether it was accommodating an early check-in request or assisting with local travel arrangements, they were always eager to help with a smile. Their genuine effort to make my stay as comfortable as possible was deeply appreciated.
The location is another advantage, offering convenient access to key attractions like Abbey Falls and Raja’s Seat while being close to local eateries and markets. Though the property doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, the staff’s thoughtful recommendations for nearby dining options were spot on.
Navrathna Comforts exemplifies hospitality at its finest. It’s a perfect choice for travelers seeking a peaceful, affordable stay without compromising on comfort or service. I left with a heart full of gratitude and look forward to returning.
