My recent booking at Red Palace turned out to be an absolute nightmare. From the moment I arrived, I had to face a series of problems, and to my dismay, the hotel staff attempted to scam me. It is incredibly disheartening to have such an unpleasant experience, especially when I booked through a reputable app (Agoda) and thought I had secured a reasonable price.
Upon reaching the hotel, I was greeted by a receptionist who wasted no time in informing me about supposed "technical glitches" with my reservation. According to their explanation, the app had made an error, and I was now required to pay an additional fee to secure my room. The entire situation seemed fishy, as it appeared they were conveniently using a technical glitch as an excuse to extort more money from me. What made it worse was that they tried to deceive me by showing a price for two nights, even though I had only booked the rooms for one night. Additionally, I had specifically booked triplet rooms, but they insisted that the room capacity was only for two people, forcing me to book an additional room.
Despite my protests and attempts to reason with the receptionist, they obstinately stood their ground, refusing to address the issue unless I paid the extra amount. Read moreWorst experience. Hotel manager is a tout person. Took/ snached my mobile and gave the rating 5star without my concern. After i caught this fraud activity he claimed that rating window will open after 6hours(tried to make me fool again). Behaviour was rude and critical. Showed local area power to us. All the assistants were bad in behaviour. We booked another hotel(oyo 46183 new tech india) which is opposite of that hotel.saw that too from my mobile. He called that hotel in front of us and told something not to give entry to us. Similar thing happened they did not gave us room and behaved badly. We felt insecure and we were scared of this local goons like manager. And now i am talking about the hotel room. We did not get any room key. They told that no key was there. We left our door open to go outside. Ac remote was not there, dis not provided 3rd extra matress after telling them several times they told we dont have that. Toilet flush not working, broken toiled door, broken chairs, dirty beds amd so many things i clicked every pictures of it. The most scary thing was not giving us the room lock key. Our bag had no security. This kind of experience we are getting from oyo. I am not going to trust oyo hotels anymore after this incident. Read moreI would give this hotel zero if possible. Worst hotel I have ever visited. I booked this hotel through Oyo and I have paid the money through Oyo itself. When I reached the hotel they didn't allow me to check-in and was asking for extra charges more than 1000. I called the Oyo customer care, they did every possible thing they even paid extra Rs 550 from their side but still they didn't allowed me. In front of me another customer was looted by the receptionist. He also paid the money online but he also paid cash at the hotel. I think this is some kind of scam by such hotels. And when the customer leaves the hotel they says that your money will be refunded back soon but I believe the customer will never recieve money back. Hotel charges money from online portal through hotel chains like Oyo as well as they loots the customer by taking cash from them which is even more than the amount the customer have paid online....
