Hotel Sahara Inn — Hotel in Kerala

We went to Wayanad on 13-15th Aug'16 and had done the booking thru Cleartrip for Hotel Sahara Inn.On clear trip site We had paid Rs 4500 for each night for "Triple Suit AC room".When we reached to hotel and the room we were given was not suit Room. It was just a room.When I asked the hotel person he said Cleartrip has wrong picture on their site and it is their mistake.So in other word Cleartrip itself is cheating here by showing picture of Suit on their site and selling other category Room for Sahara Inn.||||Hotel is located on Kozikode main road. We were given Room No 102 and there was not at all ventilatation.The only window in room was opening in hall which itself was closed from all side.||||This is what the details we observed there...||||-Bathroom was not clean.||-They don't provide any shover gel/shampoo etc. They only give medimex soap.||- They don't put tissue in the bathroom though tissue stand is there.||- Unless u ask they will not give you hand towel. Only one bath towel was given to us.We asked one more and then they provided it.||-I have not seen any hotel who uses two single bedsheets to cover the king size bed.||- Quality of bedsheets were not good and not cleaned also. The quality of blankets was not good too.||- Next day we requested them to change the bedsheet but they did not do that. If you will ask them to clean the room then only they will do otherwise not.||- Hot water system is there in bathroom but there is no hot water. They have solar system installed and it does not work it seems if weather is not good.||- No proper room service. If you need something then u have to go to their restoraunt and bring on your. Or if you really want that they should bring then you have to go 3-4 times to remind them in their restoraunt.So you will feel like doing on your own.||- AC switch on and off get controlled from reception.||-There is no wifi and internet in this hotel.||-There is no coffee maker in the room. If you need hot water and tea coffe then u have to go to their restoraunt.||- This is 10 years old hotel. They have recently painted it. Everwhere paint smell was there becaused this is not fully ventilated.||- person sitting on reception was good. But nothing was in his hand too.||-Room was not cleaned properly. You can see dust everwhere on Sofa/table etc.||||In Rs 4500 you will get better hotel with better facility. For me this was last booking...

We had dinner at this place on 27th December 2022. We had to go here since almost all other restaurants were crowded. When we entered the restaurant we realized that the lady at the reception is not at all supportive. She was keeping a frowning face and was not at all helping us with dining vailability for 8 people. After 10 minutes we were guided to the family room and we found it extremely dirty. We chose to sit in the outside cabin itself. After 40 minutes of waiting our dinner was served. We found the food quality very poor and discarded most of the food. When we mentioned the same to them, they didn't give any attention. The lady at the reception was kind of " just pay and go". Next day morning most of us got food poisoned. I observed that they are having rooms as well. Don't know how people are feeling it in case of stay. But my humble advice to all of you is that please don't eat from here. Your stomach will get infected for sure. I am planning to file a complaint to Vythiri police and...

The people here at absolute cheaters. They cheated us 3000 rs when they had promised to return our money. A bank transfer was stuck midway which is why I had to pay in cash. As promised by the owner, upon completion of the bank transfer it was supposed to be returned. But that never happened. Since we had already returned to our hometown we could not retrieve the money back from them. The do not provide any sort of service and also misbehave with the guests.
