Itsy Hotels Ushodaya Royal Residency — Hotel in Kerala

Its just 200 meters away from the highway. But the connection road was in a real bad shape. It's full of dirt and mud; can't approach on foot. Some corporation drainage canal work was going on. No one used to be there at the reception. We need to call the caretaker, whose number is given. His phone is switched off at times! Room and bathroom were somewhat clean, but everything was pretty old and weared out. Geyser switch was not working in our room. The guy brought hot water in a bucket. It took a day for the repair to be done. As room service, not even a bottle of packaged drinking water was given. Breakfast was just 2 dosas, chutney and tea; which may cost Rs.30 outside. We took breakfast only once during our three day stay. Parking for only 4 cars is available. I had to park my vehicle in an adjacent plot without any kind of security. The whole facility needs an urgent revamp. With limited resources, the caretaker tried to please us. But the owner seems to be after some easy money without investing on necessary infra and...

I found this treebo stay with an offer price of 1250 per day. It wasn't a pleasurable stay there. Overall only an average hotel or a Good lodge that's how I can describe the property.

Pros: Staff was really friendly and provide all amenities for me. AC & Heater works properly Mosquito rich area, but windows and doors will keep them away from room.

Cons: Road is completely broken - it's kind of a off-road experience for 300m, can't walk to this property in rainy season. Neatness wasn't upto the mark, Toilet was ok ok, but not so good closet was not fitted properly. Bed is good but sheets were not changed, I started itching everytime I enter the room. Thank God I had my on bedsheet with me. Towels were smelly so I just used it as table cover only. Breakfast area is at 3rd floor, and it wasn't maintained well washbasin there was too smelly.

Overall not recommended for family. But I had worst experience in and around Technopark for 1000 range. Hence this is what I am expecting on a...

The location is nearby to Infosys and Zam Zam restaurant, but the road to the hotel is in a very bad shape. The parking is limited, just enough space to park 2 cars. There are no signs or boards that identifies the restaurant. You just need to trust the Google maps location.

The room as such was clean and good. But the bathroom needs some maintenance. We had to clean the bucket and mug ourselves as it was very dirty. The bathroom walls were also dirty. The water from AC was dripping into the bathroom making it wet all the time.

The breakfast had limited options. They had wheat dosa for one day and idli the next day. There were other guests also complaining about the breakfast. There was only one person to cook breakfast and she seemed to be doing her best with the options...
