Leisure valley beach resort — Hotel in Kerala

I put the maximum reviens for Carrart and his Family (Mohamed, Wafa and their mother) for the best stay we had during our 5 weeks traveling in India. We had booked via Agoda in a nearby hotel that we could not find on the map and not call as there was no Contact info. While asking my way I met Carrart and asked him if he had a room for the night in case we dont find the place. After finding the place it turned out that our reservation was not taken into account so we went to leisure valley. They only had availability for a night but we wanted 3 nights. They managed to accommodate us even if they were full We felt right away like at home with a beautiful heartful family who made their rooms as individual private very luxurious bungalows. We felt like in a little house with all comfort and a 2 m large bed and a fridge and a beautiful bathroom bathing with the dolphins. 😉We had a terrace and a small land. The place is magic al made with passion and is very quiet even when fully booked. We had to stay an extra night and Carrart even offered us to stay in his room in case we could not find another place as it was fully booked for Independence Day week end. I am grateful for our meeting with them. I recommend highly to go there. The breakfast is freshly made and delicious. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the quiet cliffs and nice restaurant on the cliff. Overall, a fantastic experience. The hosts are lovely and very welcoming, especially owner’s children. They are extremely cordial, down to earth, and helpful. This resort is run by a family. They serve homemade meals but the order needs to be placed 3-4 hours ahead of time. One can also order food using Swiggy/zomato. Breakfast was complimentary and was served after 8am.

Owner’s son was kind enough to make 4 glasses of lime juice when we arrived despite the fact that their lunch hour was over already. He could have simply denied when we asked for it.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very comfortable stay. Wafa, who is the daughter of the owner was extremely helpful while booking the place, guiding us to the nearby beach.

Location is little inside from the main road but roads are good. Resort itself is beautiful. All the cottages are lovely, parking can be done right outside of each cottage. Extremely peaceful and comfortable place.

Breakfast was offered on both days as it is part of the package. On the first day, they served Appam with a veg curry, idli, set dosa, masala omelette and tea. Next day, since we were the only family in the resort, they offered limited menu - same veg curry as the previous day with Appam, poori, masala omelette and tea. Everything on their menu tasted good.

The only thing which was missing during our stay was - a swimming pool (which I guess is in progress), and some indoor games. If they add these 2 things, the experience will be...

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone Visit varkala . They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.I had a wonderful experience at the LEISURE VALLEY BEACH RESORT Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues! Excellent property and very convenient to USC activities. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. Overall, I had a great experience with the LEISURE VALLEY BEACH RESORT ,staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend.
