We were two girls visiting Varkala for the first time, and honestly, it never felt like we were new to the place because of how warm and caring the owner was. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel so comfortable and safe. He suggested a wonderful breakfast place right opposite the homestay, guided us with hidden gems around Varkala that only locals usually know, and even helped us arrange transport when we decided not to take bikes because of the weather.

He constantly checked on us to make sure we were fine, and told us to reach out anytime if we had doubts or needed help. One of the highlights was when he personally took us to a hidden beach between Kabini and Black Sand Beach—where one side had backwaters and the other side opened up to the sea. As a beach lover, that was such a special moment for me! 🌊 His photography skills are amazing too, and he even took us on a small adventurous walk which turned out to be such a memorable experience.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here, Azru, our host is a lovely person, so helpful, always available and ready to help immediately with whatever we required. We had access to the kitchen and the fridge, which made our stay easier and helped save some money as well. We could eat our food in a spacious dining room/ hall. The whole home looked new, clean and well maintained, including our room on the ground floor.
