I did not stay here I came here to celebrate my little brothers 1st birthday it was a total disaster First of all we said to play happy birthday day song when cutting the cake and when my brother was cutting the cake the song disconnected the plug which was giving power to the speaker got disconnected and the servant working there could not find the proper plug. This just shows their irresponsibility and not being able to even figure out something so simple my little brother who is one years old could even. Any way what was more bad was the food I will explain it in very detail. First one day before the party ( or the birth day ) we came to check out the hall when we got to the front lobby They had already printed out pictures saying happy birth day and we asked why are you putting happy birth day signs and balloons already the party is tomorrow they said it was for another party and the funny part is he thought at first the manager thought we were guests to the party ( the party is still one day away ) and said the hall will not be open still 5PM and we said but the party is tomorrow and they said we got mistaken it was another kids birth day party we said okay and we left on the day of the party we cut the cake and when we went to eat the food I took some butter chicken curry and it was the worst chicken or butter chicken curry I have ever had usually butter chicken curry is sweet and enjoyable but this one was horrible just horrible I felt that we needed to call the food inspector but I didn’t then after all that we asked for some chapatis and gobi Manchurian for my grandmother who is diabetic and when we said that the servent was going to take the food that when the manager came out saying we cannot take the food home we paid full money for the food in advance so the rest of the food should be our belongings right but he did not give the food that’s when we know that the food was one day old and they thought the birth day was one day before the actual birthday When we asked the manager he said that there was a party yesterday but when we asked the receptionist she first said there was a party but when we asked one more time she said the truth and when we asked the security he said there was no birthday parties yesterday so
Over all the worst food I have ever had and the worst customer service I have ever seen and just the worst hotel I have ever seen thank you for your valuable time I had also had stomach problems and gas after just 30 minutes of having the butter chicken just if you want to save your stomach don’t go here thank you reading...

I checked into this hotel at 6 PM this evening, having booked through MakeMyTrip. Upon arrival, I was informed by the reception that while direct bookings allow for a 6 PM checkout the next day, my MakeMyTrip booking requires an 11 AM checkout. This was a bit inconvenient.
The room itself was alright, but unfortunately, the bathroom and toilet were not maintained to an acceptable standard of cleanliness. Several amenities advertised on MakeMyTrip were also missing from the room. There was no Wi-Fi facility available, which was a significant drawback.
I was told that complimentary breakfast was included. However, when I inquired at the reception, I learned that it's not a buffet-style breakfast, which was a bit misleading. The room has a TV, but it's not a smart TV; it only offers the hotel's provided channels. Basic amenities like a dental kit and shower cap, which were mentioned on MakeMyTrip, were absent. For a double occupancy room, there was only one glass and one soap provided. The glass was even placed upside down on the table, implying guests should wash it themselves. To their credit, when I called reception to request two glasses, they promptly delivered them without hesitation.
The hotel's proximity to S.U.T. Hospital is a positive point. However, having paid over ₹2000 for the room rent and taxes, I feel the room did not offer value for money. My overall experience suggests that the rooms in this hotel do not justify the...
Read moreI stayed at Ridges Hotel from March 10th to March 11th, 2025, during our trip to Kerala, booking two rooms. The rooms were quite small, making it difficult for us as parents to sleep comfortably with our child. When I requested an extra bed, the night receptionist informed me that there would be an additional charge of ₹800 per night, which seemed excessive. Though we agreed to pay, explaining our request to the night staff was a challenge, as he struggled to communicate in both English and Hindi. (In the end he didn't charge us)
Another strange experience occurred when we requested a morning tea under our MAP plan. The restaurant manager either didn’t understand English or Hindi or was simply angry. He insisted that we had to pay ₹30 for the tea inorder to deliver tea at room, which was unexpected. Also food was not well cooked in dinner as we had accompanied with elderly parents and especially (Vegetables were not...
