Im deeply disappointed by the service and staff attitude. It's not my first time here, the denominator has always been the poor customer service.
Very rarely do I post negative reviews publicly, but this experience genuinely deserves one.
Note to the owner: Either train your staff in basic soft skills and accountability, or replace them with individuals who are capable of handling customers responsibly. If I were the owner, that would be my first step.
The staff at your cafe appear unfit for their roles — they are young boys who likely have had little to no exposure to professional service or customer relations. And honestly, why would it matter to them? They probably receive the same salary whether a customer is well served or not. That’s my professional assessment of the situation.
I visited around 3:30 PM today and ordered a sandwich, cutlet, and iced tea. The food arrived cold and the drink never did. Despite asking multiple times, and even placing another order in between, I was repeatedly told the iced tea was “almost ready.” Thirty minutes later, after I had finished eating and asked once more, I was finally informed that the drink was never prepared. It wasn’t available at all.
It’s not about the iced tea. It’s about the attitude. Not even an apology. The entire experience reflected carelessness, lack of communication and zero accountability, far from what one expects from an establishment that calls itself a cafe.

Read moreEdit: We visited the shop yesterday around 4:30 PM and ordered cardamom teas, egg puffs, and minced chicken pav. We waited over 20 minutes with only two other customers present, and no one else waiting. The staff seemed more focused on Zomato orders than on serving us. The egg puffs was taken outside for a long time, left there, and covered in flies. You can check the CCTV footage if needed. When I asked about our tea, I was told it was still being prepared carelessly. Meanwhile, the egg puffs remained outside. And they served tea to customers who arrived after us. Since we didn’t have more than 30 minutes for tea, we decided to leave and get some from a newly opened place nearby. I’ve visited this shop multiple times before and was always satisfied, but this experience was...
Read moreWe were 2 families looking for a place to have some tea , coffee and snacks on a late sunday afternoon before catching our train. Google showed chai cult was the closest cafe within walking distance of our location.
We ordered ginger tea, cardamom tea and special filter coffee. They were really good, taste was awesome.
For snacks, we all had chicken cutlets, this was definitely the best cutlets we had outside of home made ones, for a change, we could all really taste the chicken in the cutlet. This was in high demand while ordering, the servers were really kind in rushing our order for 6 cutlets since we also had to catch a train from TVC station.
Overall a great cafe we could catch. Hope chai cult sustains the...
