YAM Hotel Eanchakkal — Hotel in Kerala

I’m giving 1 star because that’s the least possible. Don’t recommend this hotel for stay,

Booked standard room with breakfast @ RS. 2200 room was below average and no hot water available. At check in time they informed they are charging 2000 as room rent and 200 for breakfast. In the morning they offered me upma ( Uppumavu) and tea, that was the only thing they had. And they asked me to eat it in such a worst place where yesterday had some party and it’s not cleaned after the party. So I denied the breakfast and checked out by paying room rent. Then Next issue started It was almost 9 am, they ware not able to generate invoice, as their receptionist will come only at 10.30 and he talked to me over phone his behaviour was very bad. Then I left without getting the bill and traveled back almost 20 kilometres to get the bill in the afternoon. I never had such a worst experience in my life...

Date of visit - multiple times in Feb 2020 Have visited only their bar and beer parlour. Not the restaurant or rooms.

They have renovated the place. The rooftop bar is open again. And they have got bar license, not just beer. The place is much better than earlier. And the pricing is good compared to other places. Its a good bar for take away.. i mean liquor and beer. There are two classes, I visited lower class which is in the 1 st floor left corner. It was bery crowded and congested. Parking was fine. The watchman was very customer frndly. They don't accept gpay or phonpe, atm they accept. Prices are high, cant blame them. But 100 Rs beer will cost 160 , margin js very high and no one complaints.
