🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟A Stay to Remember Forever. A Truly Magical Stay at Hotel eL Castello, Leh – A Home in the Himalayas!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟||From the moment we stepped into Hotel eL Castello, it felt like we had entered a dream nestled in the lap of the majestic Himalayas. The grand traditional welcome we received at the hotel instantly made us feel special and deeply connected to the local culture. Warm smiles, welcome scarves (khatas), and a comforting cup of herbal tea were the perfect start to what would become one of the most memorable stays of our lives.||The ambience of the hotel is something straight out of a Ladakhi fairytale. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of snow-capped mountains and blue skies, the architecture of El Castello perfectly blends tradition and comfort. The interiors are tastefully done, with beautiful wooden elements, traditional motifs, and cosy corners that invite you to unwind. Every corner of the property radiates a serene and peaceful vibe.||One of the highlights of our stay was the impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards maintained throughout the property. Whether it was the rooms, dining areas, or the garden, everything was spotless and extremely well taken care of. You can truly feel that the team here pays close attention to detail and cleanliness, which made us feel very safe and at ease during our stay.|Our room was a delight – spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a balcony that opened up to the most stunning views of the mountains. Waking up to the sun rising over the peaks and sipping tea while watching the clouds float by was an experience that words simply cannot do justice to.|Now, coming to the heart and soul of the hotel – the service and staff. Everyone here treats you not like a guest, but like family. The staff is polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to make your stay perfect.||But we have to give a very special mention to Anu, the manager of this wonderful property. From the very beginning, Anu was not just a manager to us – she became family. Her warmth, friendliness, and genuine care for every guest are something rare and precious. She went out of her way to guide and help us plan our entire family trip, suggesting local experiences, helping with logistics, and even checking in on us after we left the hotel for local excursions. Her deep knowledge of the region and her commitment to making each guest’s journey unforgettable are truly commendable. We honestly felt like we were staying at a family friend's home rather than a commercial hotel – all thanks to Anu!||The food at eL Castello deserves a review of its own! Whether it was the local Ladakhi dishes or the delicious North Indian and continental meals, everything was freshly prepared, hygienic, and bursting with flavour. We especially loved the breakfast spreads – hearty, homely, and made with love.|In short, Hotel eL Castello isn’t just a place to stay – it’s an experience. It’s where the mountains meet hospitality, where comfort meets culture, and where guests become family. If you’re planning a trip to Leh, don’t think twice – book your stay at eL Castello. And if you’re lucky enough to meet Anu, know that you’re in the best hands in all of Ladakh.||We left with full hearts, beautiful memories, and a promise to return. Thank you, eL Castello and dear Anu, for making our trip so...
Read moreThe hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. we had a nice experience and wonderful stay at this hotel. There is a parking space also, where we parked our Manza Car. Though parking space is small, can park max three SUVs at a time but we didn't face any problem during our 5 days stay. Hotel interior has beautiful Wood work, bigger bathrooms with warm water facility. lobby and stairs have different types of flowers and show plants which was really beautiful. From terrace nice views of mountains are eye catching. staffs were helpful and accommodating, they arranged declaration forms( for visiting nubra and pangong) in night for us. Food was awesome and we loved so much that we tried to take food each day from hotel only.||The Hotel is managed by a comely lady (i think owner's wife), she was very friendly and helpful. she gave us all the places name in and around Leh with kilometers, i was surprised that all the distances were accurate and perfects. Her advice was genuine...
Read moreI stayed in this hotel in July 2014. The owner’s lady treated the guest like they are staying in a school Hostel. You can't do this and that, have to be back at certain time. I didn't saw any rule book. She is nosy and don’t know how to treat the customers. She is yelling at me for returning late at hotel but all the other staff members are pretty cool. I don't recommend because it is expensive and it sucks. “There are bunch of cheaper and nicer hotels if you walk up few...
