I recently checked into this hotel , my check-in dates were 5th 6th and 11th of September 2024. I decided to book this one based on reviews on google and other travel platforms.
let me break down the day by day experience 5th Sep - We were welcomes with a white shawl and a lime drink , after waiting for 5 mins we were in the room, so the process was quick.
However as soon as we entered the room 311 , we started feeling claustrophobic , while it was cold outside , due to lack of ventilation there was no air inside the room and sometimes we felt hard pf breathing. We just got freshened up thinking it may be an altitude issue and went down in their garden which is just outside the hotel, after going around the leh market we came back for dinner. which starts at 8pm. There were some other guests as well but the hotel was almost empty , the food was "OK" but was cold surprisingly considering we came right around 8pm to eat. We had our dinner and came to our room to get a good night sleep. However the bed and the pillows were absolutely uncomfortable, however we slept and got up with really bad back ache.
The same story continued on 6th the Breakfast and Dinner were nothing to write about, very few people hence they had lost interest to serve food . However in that afternoon we requested for change of room/pillows and told them the issue , however whoever picked up the phone informed us that was not possible. So we had to sleep on the same bed , really uncomfortably.
While checkinh out on 6th , since we had such a harrowing experience we asked our booking guy to move our hotel to another one on the 11th, since we were going to be back to Leh on that day, however the hotel denied saying we would have to pay EP charges if we did that. The manager spoke to me and said that he will ensure we get a good room on the 11th.
We were checked in to room num 309 and indeed it was good , the bed pillow were comfortable , however there was a broken TV(not like we went to leh to watch Tarak Mehta) however worth mentioning. Also there was issue in getting hot water and had to call multiple times everytime i needed hot water. The food(dinner) and next day breakfast was served ala-carte as we were the ONLY guest in the hotel.
There was electricty issue and while lights were working for some reason they had turned off the escalator, may be to save diesel.
I was happy it was the 12th and it was finally time to check out. the only shining star of this hotel was "DIL" the person serving food in the restuarant, he was from Nepal and we had a good chat with him.
I am not sure how this hotel has a review score of 4.9 OR may be i am the odd man out and got a bad experience.
Hotel Paradise really need to pull up their socks and live upto the reputation ofa 3 star. bext of luck to them , this is just a honest review and nothing against any...
Read moreI had the opportunity to visit Leh-Ladakh with my family (spouse and daughter) from April 24 to April 30, 2025, shortly after the unfortunate incident in Pahalgam. Despite the timing, our experience at Hotel Paradise Ladakh was truly exceptional and comforting.
This was my first trip to Leh-Ladakh, and I was thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality and excellent services provided by the hotel staff. Since we flew into Leh, we followed the recommended acclimatization routine before beginning our itinerary. On the first day, I experienced mild symptoms of altitude sickness, including low SPO2 levels and a headache. The hotel promptly provided an oxygen cylinder, which greatly helped me adjust comfortably to the altitude.
During our two-day initial stay, we enjoyed indoor games like table tennis and carrom, which made our acclimatization period enjoyable. The hotel also arranged transportation for our visits to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake, and we were accompanied by a knowledgeable and friendly driver-cum-guide who helped us explore the breathtaking beauty of the region.
We returned to Hotel Paradise Ladakh on April 29, 2025, and had booked a deluxe room. To our pleasant surprise, the hotel upgraded our room at no additional cost, given the low occupancy at the time. This thoughtful gesture truly reflected their guest-first approach.
The people of Leh-Ladakh, especially those at Hotel Paradise Ladakh, were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. At no point did we feel unsafe or uncomfortable during our stay.
I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Paradise Ladakh to anyone visiting with family to experience the natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere of Leh-Ladakh. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again for...
Read moreJhulley! Our stay at Hotel Paradise Ladakh has been F A B U L O U S !!!! Initially we were making reservations at Abduz / Grand Dragon , however a friend referred us to Mr. Rinchin Nuboo the owner of Hotel Paradise Ladakh. He asked us to try his property and worked out a package for us (including the Car, driver, sightseeing with meals), the itinerary covered Leh extensively and being a local he guided us perfectly since in October Leh gets extremely cold! Mr Stanzin the General Manager welcomed us and briefed us about our stay. The hotel is very well done up offering spectacular views of snow capped mountains and the clear blue sky. Rooms are spacious , super clean and are fully equipped with all amenities. WiFi speed is good, which is a saviour since Prepaid Sims don’t work in Leh. The service provided is at par with any Five Star Property. The staff are extremely warm , hospitable, cheerful, all the time at the service of their guests. The food requires a special mention, both the Indian and Chinese cuisine is mouth watering. Although our booking was for 7 days, we couldn’t help but extend another day. This place is Home away from Home. We are going back with very fond memories. A big thank you to the hospitality of Mr. Nuboo and his entire team. So to everyone reading this review , Paradise Awaits ,...
