The clientele is an eclectic mix of locals and foreigners from all around the world. It is a good place to meet interesting people.
The staff and owner have a good command of English and will share their knowledge of the area. Also, if you are so inclined you can ask about a tour. The cafe owner also owns a tour company (you will likely not know this unless you engage him in conversation. There’s no selling going on.) The owner is an interesting person and is involved in many international educational projects in India.

I love thew view of mountains, river close by and giant prayer wheel that people often passing by would spin and you hear the little bell go off. I met some very interesting people here, other solo travelers and long term residents. The owner was kind and friendly and often helped me to navigate the city and we talked about Buddhism.
