"Chai Shai" the name itself is catchy and instantly inviting! This was the very first place I had tea after arriving in Leh and it truly made a great first impression.
The quality of the food is excellent everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. My parents also enjoyed their meal a lot which made the experience even more special.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner and staff are incredibly polite and cooperative always making sure guests feel at home. You can drop by any time and expect the same friendly vibe.
One charming touch is their small collection of books perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea. My mom especially loved the songs they played in the background which added to the cozy ambiance.
Overall, Chai Shai is a lovely spot in Leh that I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for great food, a peaceful environment and...

We had aloo paranthas, paneer paranthas, sabzi poori, chai, rajma chawal and khichdi too! They serve quality food in good quantity. They also have an awesome Radha Krishna playlist, it’s so soothing to have your morning started with yummy breakfast and good music. The walls are painted beautifully and the place has a very chill vibe with people from different nationalities relishing pure vegetarian food.
Inevitably they are almost full all the time except early opening hours. Hoping for your multifold growth and an expansion of seating space so that we can have all three meals here when we visit Leh...

Their special masala chai, needless to say, is the best in Leh. You may end up having...
