Laxmi Towers — Hotel in Madurai

One of the worst place to stay as a family in Madurai. We stayed in three double bedded A/c for a night

Entire Corridor was filled with Cigarette smoke When A/C was switched on, it was dripping water all day and receptionist least bothered to change us to other room They didn't provided bedsheet when checked in for an AC room and claimed all the bed sheets were sent to Dhobi for cleaning We asked him for more than 3 times and they have provided bedsheets only at night 10pm when I raised my voice Also, Extra bed was paid during booking since we came as 4 but they were least bothered to provide it. We have to use one of the bedsheets as bed spread on floor and slept all night For TV they didnt pay dth connection and they Kept it for namesake Bathroom was stinking and everything is rusted There were some many thing to raise like Parking, staff behaviour, lethargic attitude Glad we didn't make booking for more than a day

Pathetic room, loads of mosquitoes, did not clean the room properly before letting it out for guests, no service staff available, bed full of bugs, walls had cracks throughout. The worst part of this is "no water" in the morning today. Flush did not work too, how pathetic it can be. They charged us hefty 2000 for 3 bed and 1000 for 2 bed. There is no option to give less than 1 star, otherwise I would have given that only. The guy who sat in reception (10th dec evening) is the worst staff that i met all this while, irritating behavior. Especially, avoid if you are going as family, we could smell cigarette all thro the night and there were loads and loads of bottles (whisky, brandy all types) rolling around all thro the hotel. It looked more like 3rd grade lodge....

The service was pathetic, the receptionist was rude and asked us to see the rooms before booking online the next time we were around. We were given a room on the 4th floor only after we informed we had booked online. Before we mentioned the same, we were given a room on the 2nd floor while the elevator wasn’t working. The room was shabby and they don’t provide toiletries as mentioned on aggregator sites. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Also the video was taken after I asked them to change the sheets and...
