Nithyaa Grand — Hotel in Madurai

I am a journalist and a solo traveler. I stayed at this hotel on March 02-03 after my trip to Rameshwaram, Madurai & Chettinad . I must say, this is the BEST place I have stayed at during the whole trip. I am giving this 5 star rating considering many factors.

Firstly, the staff were exceptional. As a woman and a solo traveler, I really appreciated how they treated and assisted me. From the lady at the reception on March 02nd to every room service attendant who delivered tea and water, and the person at the checkout, they were incredibly helpful and courteous. Big shoutout to the receptionist's behavior and assistance 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 The man who was at the reception on March 03rd - Sir, if you are reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I must say, it's rare to find such dedicated staff in any organization.

Feeling safe and well-considered during your stay matters a lot. Secondly, I loved the room. It was clean and well-maintained. Today we went (that is 2 days after Diwali) .the entire main steam hotels like ( Amman Mess , KONAR Mess , Sundaram Mess ) everything was closed for Diwali. So we sadly went back to chennai. On the way we found the Nithya Mess. We half hearted moly went and ordered Non veg meals with Chukka and Fish fry . They served meals with Natukozhi chicken Kolambu , Mutton Kolambu and Fish Gravy . Everything tasted awesome . Especially the Chukka was ultimate on our taste buds. I now er expect this from this. My mind voice is even this small hotel itself tasted this much a what about the famous one will be . Let’s wait Madurai I will come back for a week and refresh my tummy n taste bud...

To start with, pickup service was timely, room well made, clean rooms and washrooms, excellent A/C. Highly recommended for families. The highlight is the custormer service....the manager himself, Mr. Kutti Mani.....professional, courteous, service oriented, friendly, super quick responsive....the man responsible to make every guest happy. Always available to offer help. Thank you Kutti Mani for making our stay as comfortable as possible. Having said that, the management needs to work upon the wifi setup, which needs enhancement.
