ROYAL STAY VINTAGE — Hotel in Madurai

Had a nice stay here. It is a banglow with 5 rooms of varying sizes. Stayed in three bed room option with family and was pretty satisfied with the stay. Room was ready by the time I checked in. Was neatly maintained.

It is an old banglow with mosaic flooring. Had few antiques like old camera, radio, audio recorder on display which was new to my kids.

Breakfast at 8.30 and ok okish. But, since others were good - that's fine... Idli and Pongal were available as breakfast.

They have wooden swing, sofa and kids cradle at hall which my kids enjoyed. RO water is available. Pls note when power goes off, backup available only for lights and not for fan.and AC. But, that is ok with me. Overall,...

The address is actually wrong. This property is opposite to the HP gas station. It is a hassle when you try to reach there in a taxi and can't find the property as mentioned in this location. I gave 4 starts because the room is well cleaned, neat, comfortable and I'm sure you will have a pleasant sleep. Drawbacks : Wrong location on gmaps, no shops nearby as it is located pretty inside at a street end, quite some mosquitoes in the living rooms which they could simply put a all out for those who want to chill in the common space & wifi can't reach into the room. They have given a vintage look, the rooms are so good and clean. Their service is good as they immediately cleaned the floor when we felt it was not clean. When we stayed there, breakfast came from outside and was ok ok. If you are looking for a place where you can stay peacefully this is it. It is not at walkable distance from Madurai temple or station, not too far as well. Uber Ola works there so it would be easy.
