Maintenance : 0 Let me take you through my journey at the Double Tree by Hilton Day 1 - The phone near my bed was not working however the one near the television was working. So, when I called on their care line using the phone near the television and told them about this, the receptionist very over confidently told me that I was speaking on the phone with her. I had to funnily tell her again that yes, I know I am on the phone with you right now, but my room has 2 phones and the one near my bed is not working. Finally when she understood that I had two phones in my room, she sent an engineer to my room. The engineer on arriving checked all the connections (duh!) but then when he realized that connection was not the problem, he took the phone to the washroom and started blow drying it. Then he figured out that this was not helpful either and so he simply connected the phone near the television next to my bed. He went out and changed the other phone only for it to start ringing on speaker late at night by itself. So I had to call the same engineer again who replaced the spontaneously ringing phone with another non working one. Day 2 - It took more than 10-15 mins to get hot water (this happened every day, btw) Day 3 - I go for a bath, apply face wash (and mind it, I have already waited for 15 mins to get hot water) and just when I wanted to wash my face, the water went off. So, I did the next logical thing - checked the washbasin tap for water - nothing! I had to open a mineral water bottle just to wash my face (felt like a royalty!). When I called on their 'care line', they sent someone to my room to take a look at the issue. When he came in, he opened the washbasin tap and both the maintenance guy and I saw dirty, black, muddy water flow through the tap. He very plainly told me that they had done the cleaning work and when I told him that they should have at least informed their resident customers about the cleaning, he simply said ma'am we have cleaned it now. Like lady, you are creating fuss about nothing. So what you brushed your teeth with the same tap water. P. S. I am not making this up. This literally happened when I mentioned to him that I brushed using this water. Day 4 - After waiting for 15 mins standard time (for this hotel) to get hot water, I went for a shower. This time, I had shampoo on my hair when the water went off. Like nada! No drop in the shower. No drop from the tap. Nowhere! So again I had to call their not so helpful care line. This time I was angry so I asked them why this kept happening daily. The person on the phone obviously did not have a response for me but I got the water back after waiting for 10 mins. To conclude - the service staff is alright, food is average but maintenance (which actually gives you a good stay experience) is pathetic. I really hope they take a note of my feedback (which was verbally conveyed to their staff during checkout and of course written again in this review) and work on the problems that I faced during my stay (and of course, any other problems that were not discovered by me, but some other guests might have experienced during...

Read moreMe and my wife were very appreciative of the hotel's friendly staff and support. Pratibha from the reservation team was really supportive and very patient when there was a computer error on the website for which the price of the hotel was not giving the correct price.
She has also been supportive when we have arrived the hotel as we were tired coming all away from Mumbai and had a function somewhere in Pune wagoli.
We had also a good meal tasting menu at Miyuki. Chef Murty and Chef Amit had prepared tasting menu even though it wasn't on the regular menu. The tasting menu was really exceptional and delicious. We appreciate that Chef Murty with the help of Chef Amit made our lunch an unforgettable experience.
The Front Desk team Abhijeet and Smurti was very understanding on our request. On Sunday, we had a whole day function and we requested for a simple takeaway of breakfast just to help us get by due to our early timings. Though this maybe a small thing from the hotel but that takeaway really helped us get by during our function as there was no good food to order in the place we went. Thank you to Chef Vilash and Anil (FNB) who had arranged for it.
Me and my wife also appreciate the friendliness of the team at the restaurant. Unfortunately, we couldn't remember all their names but thank you for making our...
