I ordered two pizzas on 22-Oct-15. Got the delivery in acceptable time. The receipt showed my name and order correctly and I had already done online payment while ordering. So I simply took the cartons without checking contents and the delivery person left. As soon as I opened the cartons, one of the pizza was incorrect - some Paneer variety was sent instead of El Mexicano Nacho.
I immediately called up their all India call centre (not the store number - please note!) and lodged a complaint. Also lodged a complaint through pizzahut.co.in website.
I was told that they will contact me back which didn't happen. I kept following up with them and clearly told them that I should get a replacement order on a different day (since by that time it was already almost 10.30-11 pm IST so no point in getting replacement at 11-11:30 pm) OR they need to refund the amount equivalent to that particular pizza.
Next 1-2 days I followed up again and again and every time I got angrier as each time as the call centre guys kept telling me that surely they will speak to local restaurant i.e. Pimple Saudagar PHD outlet and the outlet will call me back.
Finally today (25-Oct-15) I really gave the all India call centre guys a piece of my mind and this time I told that if I don't see an action, I will be compelled to raise this issue higher and higher..
Finally the Pimple Saudagar outlet did call me after all this and asked me if I immediately want a pizza replacement - I told them to provide in the evening.
Got the replacement Pizza (El Mexicano Nacho) free of cost today evening and the pizza was good indeed. So finally I am back to normal mood....
But it proved that if something does go wrong, it takes a lot of follow up to get anything back - and most people will give up in 1-2 attempts....

Then this guy whoās been whining from behind the counter in native language all this while comes up and says heās incharge and he says he knows that thereās an offer going, but he simply refused to give us the offer. He says heās not going to give it in his store because he āsimply doesnāt wants toā and those are the exact words I heard him tell me. The rudest and the most indecent owner Iāve ever seen. He literally denied people who came there with an offer booking and simply excused that such offers wonāt work for his store and he wouldnāt even give a one rupee discount on food. Iām sorry then why the hell is the offer still up? Atleast mail the company so people donāt waste their time and money just to fool themselves? Iāve informed Swiggy regarding the same and theyāve said theyāll be taking appropriate action. But please just make sure to never visit the store, the owner thinks heās so clever because he doesnāt inform you about this until you start interrogating, heāll simply extract money at the end when itās time to make the payment because thatās what he did to one of the fellows who went to his store. I waited for almost 40 mn but order was not delivered, then again called pimple saudagar branch...the lady staff told me that due to over rush delivery will be bit delayed but we will get it in 15 mn. She again cross checked my number and address. Again there was a waiting time for 35 mn n then again I called them. So ultimately after 1.15 hours wait the person from the staff told me that there was some confusion with my number and address. What the hell is this type of service ? When I was extremely upset they assured me that now they will deliver it in 15 mn and it seemed that they gave my parcel to someone else. Finally after 1.40 hours we finally got our stuff....yes again there was some communication gap regarding mode of payment.. unfortunately the staff was not taking any responsibility of so much delay. 30 minutes rule was nowhere n I paid the complete bill. Very disappointing experience with pizza hut pimple...
