We have been here before. At least six or seven times in the last 15-20 years. We have been enjoying business with pleasure regularly over this last decade and half or maybe more. This time our stay was a bit longer for five days as we had a lot many things to do. A number of new hotels have come up but we still chose to stay at the Landmark. The location of the hotel is so serene and not much has changed except three new hotels have come up on the Thibaw palace road. We had a nice suite on the second floor but without a view. The hotel has the commissioner’s bungalow just behind it and then there’s the Thibaw point having a magnificent view of the Arabian Sea. There’s a children’s park also with some paid activities. I managed to capture some beautiful sunsets from here. The hotel has a small but nice staff. We got acquainted with almost everyone working in the hotel. Neha at the reception was smiling and helpful while Dévidas looked after our housekeeping requirements very efficiently. He was more than helpful in locating my WiFi dongle which I had forgotten in hurry. Though we had just two meals at the hotel due to our work, we found them quite delicious. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which is reasonably good as per local standards. One should carry electric kettle and tea, milk, sugar and coffee if it’s required in the morning before 0730hours, as it’s not offered by the hotel. The G.M. ,Mr. Sangekar is a very courteous and efficient person who is seen moving around the premises at any given hour. My gratitude to him for making suitable arrangements to deliver my WiFi equipment, nicely packaged and labelled. Autorikshaws are easily available as there’s a stand just outside the hotel. This hotel is centrally located to most of the places one may like or choose to go. Having seen other hotels in the city,we are certain that we will be back at Landmark again on our next sojourn. We missed thanking the waiters and the room service guys and acknowledge their excellent service...
Read moreI would say that I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was on point, the room service, hygeine, staff, food, breakfast.
The staff was very polite and respectful, the service and response was quick, the place was very peaceful. There is a parking facility for customers. A seperate room for conference for business meetings and a sitting area.
Talking about the food, it was very tasty and budget friendly compared to the nearby restaurants which are pricey and don't provide as good service and food as this hotel.
I've stayed at other hotels that cost the same, but none come close to the level of lavish experience, service and hygiene at this one.
My family and I are extremely impressed and pleased with this hotel overall, and we’ll definitely be...
Read moreLandmark Hotel - A Class in its Own, did not quite come true for my experience. Had a overnight halt at the A/c room of the hotel.Looked like a zero maintenance room, disco lights in bathroom, noisy air conditioner, colourful muddy water in tap, moving cockroaches was quite a awful site.Hotel staff did manage to clear some of the mess when highlighted. Non veg food was average. Next morning when the above was complained to Mr Omkar(At reception) Response- Sir kucch rooms are closed for some days isliye hoga aise, me dekhta hu. I said me jata hu.
Managment needs serious checks on the condition of this hotel as this kind of experience bring disrepute to the Class it has set high.Scenic beach view was the only worth eye catcher which brought a smile...
