We randomly came across this Homestay/Hotel while roaming around

It's managed by Prashant and his Family.

The most Humble and hardworking person who will definitely take care of your needs.

The property is super clean and the rooms and restrooms are also very very hygienic and clean.

Talking about the food we tried food from their menu and also I personally requested for a custom meal by explaining my recipe which was not on their menu - both the items were made very delicious and totally home style

The prices are moderate for food and are worth considering the quality of it.

The hospitality and ambience is very good and cozy.

Service is very Prompt

They also have their own strawberry farm in from of the property where you can get super delicious strawberry from them

Nearby Places to hangout is Veena Lake

Bike and Car Parking is available and in inside and next to property in a safe environment

Kids play area is also there like sea saw slide swing etc

Cons : No Cons as such, only need more kadak adarak in their tea

We bumped into this cottage/homestay without any pre bookings and were surprised to see such a great property.

ROOMS : We were family of 4 and our topmost priority always is the cleanliness. The rooms were very neat and clean with all the amenities just like a hotel room. The room has a balcony which oversees their strawberry plantation. They even have WiFi and Room Intercom phones for room service and housekeeping. Unusual for a homestay right?

HOST : Prashant is a fabulous host. He and his family runs this property. All of them are gem of people and very friendly. They make sure your stay is comfortable and all your requirements are fulfilled. Despite being a homestay, Prashant has made sure you won't feel less than staying in a decent hotel with all the detailing in the rooms.

*FOOD : This is the main highlight. Prashant's wife cooks some delicious and lip smaking homely food. We ended up having all our meals here and not going to any other fanous restaurant for food. You will get both Veg and Nonveg options here. Don't miss their food. You can also indulge in plucking their strawberries freshly in the morning and having the farm fresh ones.

ACCESSIBILITY : The place is at 10 mins walkable distance before VENNA Lake. It's better to have your own vehicle or rent a cab if you are staying at this property. They have ample parking space on their rooftop which is secured. I prefer staying in this area to avoid the overcrowded markets.

Overall I would highly recommend this place if you want to spend some peaceful time with your family and loved ones.

We recently stayed at Prashant Cottages for 2 nights and 3 days in a deluxe room with a balcony, and it was a fantastic experience!

Rooms: 5/5 The location is perfect—just 500 meters (a short walk) from Venna Lake and about 3 km from the main market area. The rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures: clean, well-maintained, and spacious. The balcony added an extra charm with its peaceful view, making it a great place to relax.

Food: 5/5 The homemade food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed all my meals there—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and everything was fresh and flavorful. While there are other dining options within walking distance, I’d highly recommend sticking to their homemade food for an authentic and satisfying experience.

Service: 5/5 The service was outstanding! The entire family that manages the place is warm, caring, and attentive. They ensured all my food and stay requirements were met, making me feel right at home.
