Comfortable Stay and Excellent Food
Rooms :The Executive Club rooms are are refurbished and renovated rooms and are well appointed a They have places for luggage, many drawers, cubby holes, power sockets and a small work desk. Beds are super comfortable with pillows to ensure a good nights rest.Tea coffee maker, bottled water, bathrobe are available. However, the airconditioning in the room was too cold and chilly and even though there is a regulator we could not find a way to keep the temperature to a comfortable level even with the help of the inhouse mechanic. We were ofcourse fine with keeping it off most of the time
Bathroom was spacious with a shower sta Biotique brand products and amenities in the bathroom were top class. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the room and replenishing all amenities . Two things which I personally don't like is the design concept where they have open see through type window in the bathroom. I have travelled and stayed in many Hotels all over the world from basic ones to the top luxury brands and they do have this design in many Hotels but honestly I really can't figure out the purpose of this. A bathroom is a private place and should be a closed place. Though they did have french blinds which shut out the view during the day but in the night when the lights are on in the bathroom the other partner gets disturbed with the light filtering into the room. A serious design flaw which in my opinion Hotels the world over would do well to correct. Also in the shower stall there is no adequate and proper place to keep your soap, shampoo, lotion, conditioner etc. To be fair , this is not an issue with this Hotel but in many other Hotels the world over.
The best thing about this Hotel is undoubtedly the food. Excellent is an understatement. The Breakfast Buffet was absolutely delightful with a wide choice of local and western dishes. Eggs made to order and you could ask them to make a masala dosa. Everything is fresh and more than adequate. We found the food so good that we did not find the need to look elsewhere. All our dinners and lunches (whenever we were around from our tours) were enjoyed in the Hotel restaurant. From the a la carte menu, the Naan Qaliya, the Manda Gosht ( both local favorite dishes) and the Kolhapuri favorite Kombli Cha Lal Rassa were amazing and awesome. We also had the lunch and dinner buffets some days and the quality of food and variety for its price was absolutely Value for Money(VFM). We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Highly recommended to eat here and not venture out.
All in all it was a very comfortable stay and some amazing food make this a great...
Read moreSituated in the CIDCO area of Aurangabad, this property of Fern Residency offers a comfortable stay with a good experience of food and lodging. The rooms are neat and clean with comfortable beds and pillows. I have stayed in the club room which was quite spacious with one tv, tea maker, chest and other amenities. The washroom is quite neat and clean and spacious as well. Only I felt the absence of few ergonomic considerations in the design of the same, like the door of the bathing area and the main washroom door swings in the same direction this hindering the access to both. The toilet area is positioned at one extreme corner, where taking the hand shower should be an issue. The gutter is also on the other side of the toilet, so drainage of the water can be an issue while using the toilet. The door lock in my room was a little loose. The corridor is well designed with paintings and fully covered with carpets with a good fragrance all around. The restaurant is on the ground floor which offers a multi cuisine dining experience. The food quality is food but buffet breakfast should have more variety of foods. The behaviour of the staff members is good and cordial. During dinner, I had ordered some la carte orders which were not on the buffet menu, took considerable time to get served. The reception area is not that spacious compared to a hotel of this cadre , however it is well decorated. The hotel also has a small gym room with the basic instruments available. The parking area is spacious and well covered. The good point is they are open and eager to customer feedback for bettering themselves which is liked by...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and overall had a very good experience.
Parking was valet, so there was no tension about finding space ourselves. Although the parking area was decent, it didn’t seem enough for a hotel of this size — but the valet service made it manageable. The location was quite convenient, with markets for groceries and medicine nearby.
The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. There was no fan in the room, but the central air conditioning worked well. Bedsheets were clean, though the extra bedding provided was a little uncomfortable. A smart TV with subscriptions to all major OTT platforms was available, which was a nice addition.
The highlight of our stay was the breakfast. It was the specialty of the hotel, offering a wide variety of food, drinks, and sweets. It really gave a great start to our day. Other food items we tried from the hotel were also tasty and, to our surprise, not as expensive as we expected for a hotel of this standard.
The staff were cooperative and helpful throughout our stay. The indoor swimming pool was clean, and the water temperature was well-maintained, making it very enjoyable.
Overall: A good and comfortable stay with clean rooms, great breakfast, and helpful staff. Worth considering if you're...
