I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shahi Bhoj Thali Restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience that left me absolutely enchanted. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat.

The first thing that struck me was the ambiance. The decor of Shahi Bhoj Thali is beautifully adorned with regal motifs, creating an atmosphere of grandeur and opulence. The traditional artwork, elegant chandeliers, and plush seating arrangements all added to the overall royal feel. The attention to detail in creating an authentic dining experience is commendable.

Now let's talk about the star of the show—the thali! The Shahi Bhoj Thali is an absolute feast for the senses. It offers a wide array of dishes, meticulously curated to showcase the best of Indian cuisine. From appetizers to desserts, every item on the thali is a masterpiece.

The variety and quality of the food at Shahi Bhoj Thali are unparalleled. Each dish is cooked to perfection, with an exquisite blend of flavors and spices that transport you to the heart of India. The thali includes a diverse range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, allowing you to indulge in the rich culinary heritage of the country.

The service at Shahi Bhoj Thali Restaurant is top-notch. The staff members are incredibly attentive and hospitable, ensuring that every need is met with a smile. They take the time to explain each dish, its origin, and the significance behind it, making the dining experience educational as well as enjoyable. The staff's passion for their cuisine is evident, and their dedication to providing exceptional service is truly commendable.

One aspect that sets Shahi Bhoj Thali apart is the presentation. The thali is a visual delight, with each dish thoughtfully arranged to create a beautiful tapestry of colors and textures. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation is truly remarkable.

To top off the meal, the desserts served at Shahi Bhoj Thali are a sweet finale that leaves a lasting impression. From traditional Indian sweets to innovative creations, the desserts are a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. The flavors are rich, the textures are indulgent, and they provide the perfect ending to a regal feast.

In conclusion, Shahi Bhoj Thali Restaurant offers a dining experience fit for royalty. With its majestic ambiance, delectable thali, impeccable service, and unforgettable flavors, it stands as a true gem in the realm of Indian cuisine. Whether you're a connoisseur or simply looking to embark on a culinary adventure, Shahi Bhoj Thali is a must-visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it and can't wait to return for another...

As I am in Aurangabad, I visited Shahi Bhoj Thali in the CIDCO outlet. I heard many things about this place. Thus, I visited it for dinner. Firstly, I have to wait outside for 15 minutes to get a seat. Then I entered the restaurant and told them for thali. There is unlimited thali. As they claim, their thali is Gujarati and Rajasthani, and I was eager to have different cuisine from Maharashtra. The thali was big, and they started serving many things one by one. First they serve water, buttermilk, and jaljeera; then they serve snacks like dhokla, mini samosa, and palak chaat. Then the sabjis, like shevbhaji, aloo matar, chavali, and aloo curry. In breads they served chapati, bhakri with jaggery, and puri. The taste of the snacks and all the sabjis was ok, not so good. I don't find any item from Gujarati or Rajasthani cuisine except dhokla. So I was disappointed by them. They served all Maharashtrian cuisine in there, sabjis also in the rice; they served plain rice and khichdi. Khichadi was totally bland. I found it tasteless, so I took the plain rice. After that, it's time for dessert: jalebi, sheera, and chocolate basundi. I like some of the few items from there; I like palak chaat and chocolate basundi. As it was an unlimited thali, the staff didn't take snack items twice after being told 2 to 3 times; then they took it. I don't find this place affordable because firstly, they don't serve Gujarati thali in the items as they claim, and then the taste of the food was not that good, and most of the items you don't like remain as they are in the thali; thus, it is a waste of food. I would not suggest this...

Visited Shahi Bhoj on 28 april 2025 for their pure vegetarian thali experience. The restaurant is usually very crowded but has good seating and a clean, simple ambience.

They serve only thalis, and the menu changes daily, which is nice.

Welcome drink (Jaljeera): Refreshing and tasty (4/5).

Sweets: Amras (4/5) and Mohanthal Halwa (3.5/5) were good, but Jalebi was disappointing (2.7/5).

Farsan: Dhokla was fresh and soft (4/5), but the Samosa was stale and terrible (0/5).

Chat:Dahi wada chat was good(4.5/5]

Sabjis: Paneer Makhana was not good and lacked flavor. Tondali Achari Dry (3/5) was average, while Aloo Baingan Chiriya and Ragda Watana were better (4/5).

Special Veg: Shev Bhaji (4/5) was tasty, but Veg Kolhapuri was a big letdown (1/5).

Rice and Dal: Plain Rice (3.8/5), Moong Dal Khichdi (3/5), and Dal Fry (3.5/5) were okay.

Kadhi: Didn’t like the Gujarati Kadhi (2/5).

Breads: Phulka, Puri, and Bhakri (served with ghee and jaggery) were quite good (4/5).

Extras: Pithla was decent (3.5/5). Complimentary paan at the end was a nice touch.

Service: The service deserves special mention, with quick and attentive staff (4.8/5).

Pricing : ₹400 per adult and ₹300 for kids (4–8 years). Slightly expensive considering the inconsistent food quality.

Parking: Difficult to find, especially on weekends.

Overall. 6.5/10 You can definitely try Shahi Bhoj once for a different thali experience, but with the food being hit-or-miss and the pricing on the higher side, taste wise its below average,it’s not something I would...

It's been a Shahi Bhoj as they noted the name of the Restaurant. When you entered the restaurant you almost feel like, Wow! what is it? The interior was so cool, hygienic environment, with clean and fresh tables over which they served us. Plates are already put on the dining table and covered with a special cloth. You have two choices for sitting over there, that is on the chair or the sofa. Also, you can reserve your seats where you want to sit. This is, what I like most. And you also get in love with the process of waiters they served us. There's nothing 1 or 2 waiters for serving. As I counted more than 15 waiters are continuously putting something in the bowls of your dish. There are 7 bowls, and 2 plates in the dish and they serve 7 types of Subji (Bhaji), chapati, chatnis, papad, sweets and so on. I added an image of a dish, look at it. A dish is about 350 ₹ per person, and it's unlimited you can eat. At last, gives a coupon for 'MASALA PAAN' with the bill to us. Visit The Restaurant once definitely. A note: (I mostly observed in any popular restaurants, the servants are giving importance to your appearance, not to you. If you look rich by appearance they treated you well and talk with politely and a smile. And if any middle-class person enters, they neglect him like a beggar. Even they can't serve properly too. I can't understand. Are the middle-class person not paying you complete after a meal or is it his fault that he chose your restaurant? Think about it... it deeply hurts. I had an experience.)
