By far the most horrible experience that I have had. Booked on OYO site with pre-payment but when I reached the place my booking was not there. I showed the booking confirmation but instead of taking up the issue with OYO, they asked me to pay. This was after reaching the hotel at 9:30 pm after a trek for 7 hours and drive for 4 hours. The owner said that OYO and they were different and kept arguing. After me spekaing to OYO call centre for 40 minutes the issue finally came to rest. I hadn't eaten or drank anything. |Now when I was about to go to sleep these were my observations:|1. After the horrible experience from 10 pm-11pm, when I got ready to sleep, I found that there are "hairs" of the previous guests all over the bed. The concern was some of them didn't look like hair from the head. They put the entire blame on the housekeeping staff and that they knew nothing.The blanket cover was dirty, so I asked them for a bedsheet. I also asked them for an extra blanket and a pillow (only 1 pillow was there). They took 30 minutes to get it and I could sleep only after 12 am.||2. When I used the bathroom, I found that the bucket was dirty, the shower holder was broken, the commode was dirty, the cover of the cistern was a retrofitted one made of ply, no soap holders etc.Ā All pictures are enclosed. Aren't these basic things that customers or any human being would expect? But whom do I give the feedback. No one is there to listen.||3. While having my breakfast in my room, there were cockroaches around my breakfast.||4. Whole night the staff were speaking and the noise came into my room and I woke up because of their noise after sleeping only for 5 hours. The staff were saying, "Customer ko toh mein bhi bahut kuch bol sakta hu, leking nahi bolta hu." Every once in a while someone would shout, "Yeh kya kar rahe ho etc" probably scolding the staff but least bothered about the fact that he was so loud that the guests may get disturbed.||5. THIS IS THE MOST BEWILDERING. While checking out, the staff, one Mr Raja tells me, "Thoda ratings dekh lijiye ga." I was at my wit's end. Instead of saying sorry for yesterday's episode, he asks me for RATING. I said,"What do you expect after yesterday?" He says,"Mera bolna kaam hai, Mein ne bol diya." And he went on to convince me that yesterday's issue was in order to avoid any issue later because such things keep happening with OYO. I only told him this,"You're surviving because of OYO. If it isn't so, then remove the OYO board," He says that OYO and they are different. When I ask them how dare they bring up the topic once again, he says "Ho gaya ab. Thank you."||My utter dissatisfaction is that they didn't realize through the entire night that what they did the night before was a cardinal sin. You don't harass aĀ customer because there is some issue with OYO.||Summary of my experience:||1. I was supposed to go to Guwahati after a trek but had to stay at Shillong because of fatigue||2. I book a room through OYO and make a pre=payment||3. I reach the hotel and my booking is not there||4. The owner tell me that I have to pay||5. The owner tries to explain me that OYO and they are different||6. I call the call centre, The guy is busy and asks me to call after 2 minutes||7. I call again and the lady transfers the call to a senior, one Mr Vikram. I speak to him for 40 minutes and he take the owner into con-call 4 times. Yet, the owner doesn't direct his team or tell anything to me. It also becomes clear that the owner is different than the one who claims to be the owner.||8. The issue is sorted. I haven't eaten anything because of them. I can't sleep because the bed is in a bad shape. The bathroom is in pathetic condition.||9. Whole night because of the loud voice of teh stafff I could only sleep for 5 hours.||10. Before check-out, I receive a call from the escalations team and the gentleman sounded serious and said he would call me back.||11. At check-out the staff asks for good rating and argues with me, thus spoiling my day||12. I see that in my app I am still not checked-out and I call centre to inform the same||I have never reviewed anything so negatively but I do not want any one else to experience it. Also, OYO wasn't...

The management is horrible. Read the reviews before booking, don't know from where to start but let me begin with our entry. So the check in time was around 11am, we reached at around 10:30am, they told us to wait since it was not 11am yet, then we waited. Next thing they told us that the room isn't ready yet so they provided us another room P.S- we booked a suite, then we waited. We waited for like an hour and they're like, "abhi tak check out nahi kia hai, aplog please rukiye" then i was like okay, another one hour passed by and they told us that they're cleaning the room. We got into our rooms after 2 hours straight. Next thing was the telephone didn't work, the tv didn't work. Then when we were taking rest, somebody consistently tried to open the door, I opened and checked there were two men who had just emptied the room next to ours, probably they did it. So no privacy. In breakfast we were served cold coffee. Oh, how can I forget about the bathroom conditions, the geyser didn't work at all. Also at the ventilation of the bathroom there was a used condom. Also when you need to order food you have to to the reception and order. We had quite a bad experience the last night we stayed in the hotel just next to the hotel there's Vishal market and you won't believe but there was someone who was trying to peep through our window from that building, you see the amount of risks especially for women! Horrible experience. And then when I went to complain about it there were two men they were drunk, although they didn't misbehave. This was our experience. If one wants good hotel please go towards the Domino's Pizza of PB lane, there are quite authentic...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stayed here for 2 nights , first of all staff at the time of checkin was very unprofessional , they did acknowledge I have a reservation , offered me a interconnecting room , I agreed as we are a family , but to my surprise they offered me a room which have two rooms and one bathroom . When I demanded either two separate rooms or interconnecting rooms with two bathrooms , they asked me to wait as they said they don't have any other double rooms available when I refused to take that after a long tour I was made to wait for close to an hour saying only manager can come and take the decision . Finally when they gave the room , they offered me rooms in two different category rooms and surprisingly one room had bathroom ventilator opening right inside the room , it was so stinking that repeated spray of room freshner was not of any use . Finally I had to buy an Odonil on my own , just to manage the stay and in the other room the bathroom ventilator opened in outside passage just in front of door of another room !!!!! plus the room was so small it finished as you enter . since we were so tired rater than arguing i, resting seemed more inviting . Also the hotel is situated right close to a high drain so there is always a stink coming from pipelines . The Hotel Conference hal is situated on 01st floor and if there is any event , good luck to you for sleeping peacefully as the party noise is impossible to ignore .||Also as you come to the corridor on 01st floor there is always a smell of food being preapared , and ti is impossible to stay in the corridor without snizzing . I myself am from travel industry and have handled many hotel issues , but this one was really unique and pathetic . ||I will recommend not to take this hotel unless and until actually you don't find any other...
