It is situated in the centre of South Mumbai very close to red light area and on the main street with lot of hawkers below the hotel making lot of noise. Very difficult to find the hotel with no place for the taxi to park near the hotel. The entrance is very narrow and dark with stink coming from the gutters near the hotel. No lift and no security for the visitors. No one to help and no food facilities at all. The Reception is very small and uncomfortable. The rooms are very small and stinky. Bed sheets were very dirty and few rooms, no hygiene and dirty towels. The shower had no hot water and on request they start the geyser and immediately shut down.||The reception is not polite and rude. The wifi connection in the hotel is very bad and used to get disconnected quite often. The charges for these rooms are not worth at all. Not suitable for family and senior citizens. Tourists and foreigners should avoid this hotel at all cost. Lot of criminals around the building and night time is very dangerous. the staff request money for...
Read moreThe hotel is only a few minutes walk from Grant Road station. The manager, Narinder, is one of, if not the nicest person we met in India. He let us check in early into one of the rooms we booked, helped us with direction and anything we needed. 2 of our rooms were very spacious, facing the main road. The third room was at the back, a bit smaller but that room was far from the street noise, so it was very quiet. All the rooms were clean, and had enough space for our belongings. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were very good, the soap that was provided had a nice scent. The lobby and staircase looked newly renovated, very clean and bright. The complimentary breakfast was simple but great, a good start of our day. I also need to mention that the staff in the hotel was very helpful, friendly, and we were well looked after. If I find myself in Mumbai again, I would definitely stay at...
Read moreFemale, very fair skinned and traveling alone? I didn't feel very comfortable in the area of the hotel. Yes, it's in the center of Mumbai, but not at all close to the monumental center. I felt uncomfortable in the shabby neighborhood, being stared/pointed at/laughed at by the many people living on the streets. The room itself was ok, but not great. It was strange to walk through some part that looked like the staffs area with refrigerators/small kitchen etc. to go to my room. Didn't try breakfast having seen that. Checking out at night, staff were sleeping on the floor next to reception. Staff were kind...
