One of the oldest restaurants that too belonging to the Maharashtrian family is a rare thing in today's Mumbai. Located at Lamington road, grant road which is considered to be an electronics and computers hub for many decades. The place is usually crowded during lunch hours and closes around 8pm in the night as the electronic and computer market generally closes around 7- 7.30 pm. The place is Famous for maharashtrian food. So we went around 5pm to taste a few dishes. We ordered Sabudana wada and batata Vada sambar. Batata Vada sambar was good in taste. We could not taste their signature Puri bhaji in the evening but will surely try sometimes. Overall Average taste and quality with lots of room for...

Definitely not recommended. There are far better places with better food and far...

The Kothimbir Wadi is divine, the crisp exterior and the creamy inside with the crunch of peanuts. The Thali peeth is superb too with an authentic taste and tempting appearance. The Batata Vada, Poha and chai also deserve a special mention.
Very friendly host and a simple ambience make it a MUST for those who enjoy and...
