Hotel Amber Palace- The worst hotel experience ever.

Do not get deceived by the beautiful clicks of the room and reception online. The rooms have a very distinctive smell ( odor) that will probably leave you wondering why you are paying for poor hygiene.

The staff is just a few boys ( no lady staff in the complete hotel) so avoid taking your wife or fiance there.

The complete hotel payment process is a scam. They cancelled my MMT booking and asked me to pay upfront. Downgraded my room and mentioned that the higher category is not in service due to covid. So dont try booking a premium room even if you stay for 1 night. They will downgrade you what so ever.

I did the mistake of staying there for 14 days. Only I know how they ensure making your stay miserable.

The first room is checked in did not have the AC working.

The second room I checked in had a seepage issue. Once I settled myself in one of the rooms, due to the Mumbai rains the room got filled with sewage water. I'm not blaming the rains for it ... but the ignorance of the hotel as they are built over a sewer line. A few other add-ons to the disappointment- no respect for privacy, no respect for female travelers, poor service quality.

The complete hotel is a zoo with poor staffing and extremely disappointing rooms.

Don’t visit this hotel even by mistake. Pure scam hotel. I booked through goibibo for 2 guests and then when i reached the hotel they said only one guest can stay at that rate or to pay much more if 2 guests are to stay. Unfortunately I had no other option but to give in to their unfair demands. But the stay was a hell. Broken dustbin, tv stopped on its own, ac remote was not working, when asked for in room coffee packets which were not present when we checked in, the waiters gave a look as I have asked for their kidneys. Complimentary breakfast is puke worthy. Tasteless, no eggs forget non veg, even no toasted bread, they said we don’t have toasters. Receptionist is so grumpy, doesn’t give replies to questions asked properly. Bathroom showers, taps only flow at a small single pace due to which if you want to take bath, prepare for an hour in advance. Rooms so small, you feel suffocated. Well you get the idea. Wont say anymore because the review will not be complete with the limited review space provided by Google. Avoid this property...

This hotel is very bad. First of all they hv a masterkey tht ze can open all room. I go out for a trip at 9 am the receptionist ask to me if my room nid to be clean, i said no. Then after i came at 10 pm i get a big shock. My room is open. My bagages, suitcases and everything is missing. I went to the reception. Latter said to me tht they hv to paint the room and after 2 min he said tht they is leakage in the room. I dont knw what was their intention. I ask him the director or owner of ze hotel. Ze give mi a wrong number. I was angry. Because they r not allowed to enter the room without the customer permission. I ask for cctv footage they didn't provide it to me. They make my suitcases dirty. Im deciding to file a case to the police station. And sue this hotel because they take customer as foolish person. Im very disappointed. They r very discusting. Found another hotel to stay bkz there is not security of ur item in...
