Hotel Green park rooms — Hotel in Mumbai

Had a very bad experience upon check in. Had booked through makemytrip.com and paid in full before arrival. When we arrived after a long flight at 10.30pm the receptionist refused to check us in, saying we had paid the wrong tariff and that we were expected to pay 3x more in order to get our room. He refused to deal with us and told us to ring makemytrip.com. I spent 40 minutes on the phone and was transferred to three different employees of makemytrip, who each time insisted on ringing the front desk to speak to the receptionist, thus putting me on hold each time. Eventually a very nice woman from makemytrip told me that she had already spoken to the hotel about this earlier in the day and that the situation had been resolved. She spoke to the receptionist on the phone and his demeanor suddenly changed. He checked us in no problem and was ingratiating in his efforts to please us, even trying to befriend my sister on WhatsApp, who is 40 years his junior. I feel like the hotel tried to exploit us for being two young women who were foreigners and expected that we would pay the money rather than cause a fuss. Rooms are not maintained properly, I had to change 4 rooms in 3 nights of my stay, sometimes the AC did not work, in one of the rooms, the ac started leaking water in the mid of the night, had to change the room to sleep, next day I was told that the problem has been rectified, the AC appared to be find for sometime, but again started leaking at 2 am in the night, some had issue with their water supply, very small rooms, the rooms on 1st and 2nd floor have very old toilet fittings, showers do not work properly, the property does not have a lift.
