I must say that my recent hotel stay has left me utterly frustrated and disappointed. Allow me to elucidate the litany of issues I encountered during my stay at this so-called establishment.
Tattered and Dirty Bedsheets: The bedsheets were nothing short of a disgrace. Torn and dirty, they epitomized the neglect and apathy of this hotel.
Non-functional Phone: I repeatedly reported that the phone in my room was inoperable, but it fell on deaf ears. A mere 4-5 requests yielded no resolution whatsoever.
Faulty Air Conditioning: To make matters worse, the AC in my room was as reliable as a broken promise.
Appalling Bathroom Conditions: The bathroom was nothing short of a horror show. It seemed as though they had turned a blind eye to basic hygiene, with unsightly deposits in the corners.
Early Check-Out: My dissatisfaction reached its peak, and I decided to check out at 8 p.m., which I'm certain they have on record. I even had the displeasure of settling my food payment at the end of my nightmarish stay.
Food Ordering Fiasco: Ordering food was a Herculean task. I had to make multiple trips down to the restaurant, as I couldn't even get through to the hotel's mobile number listed on Google. Even the MMT agent I spoke with on the night of October 4th faced the same dilemma. This is inexcusable!
Bias Towards Other Guests: To add insult to injury, it appeared that the hotel staff was prioritizing other guests, specifically Air India personnel. They unabashedly informed me that my food would be delayed because they were serving them. Read moreMy visit had a good and a bad experience. I'll start with the bag one. I used to visit this hotel regularly from 2012-2015 due to my work in Mumbai. The facilities have deteriorated ever since. There it's mould in bathrooms. There it's a strong smell in the room since the windows never been opened or lack of oxygen. The interior has never been changed. Keys are still old and dirty. The cutlery is awful. When I took the fork I could see the dirty between the thongs so I ended up using my hand. The lookout of the street was hidden with a small plantation which its now removed leaving an ugly look. The hotel is actually a 1 star hotel except for staff. The good experience was with the staff. Due to the morning rush and a waiting cab I had forgot my backpack on the lounge at the reception. The staff kept it safe for me until I collected it back again which was after almost 6-7 hours. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Another good experience was about food. I was visiting india after 11 months and was eager to eat south Indian food.
