The owner is very welcoming. He is a nice person who talks politely with the customers. The only good thing about this lodge is that it's in the heart of the city and major attractions are close by from here. Otherwise speaking there is nothing good about this hotel. I can say this is the worst stay of my all times. From outside the hotel looks so appealing and the rickshaw guys take you here so u tend to opt for a room in this hotel. But then u r truly disappointed. The rooms which was given to us was a very small one with television not working, the lighting in the room was poor, the bathroom was so unhygienic and in pathetic condition. All this for a huge amount of 1.5k that too non ac. I literally felt like vomiting luking at the washrooms. It was that bad. Any hotel room will give towels, soap, toothpaste, shampoo as a complementary thing. Here there was nothing like that. The bedsheets was very dirty and not changed. All the stains were visible. The floor itself was very dorty as if nobody cared to wipe it once the previous people left. Room was stinking badly, we had to ask a room freshner to which they handed over to us a used pounch which hardly had any smell. They run a kitchen as well, there was menu card in the room but no phone to call the room service. The kitchen could be seen directly from the window, and the looking at the condition of the kitchen tlnobody would dare to order anythng from there. We could not sleep properly at night, as there were continuous noises of cooking coming from the kitchen till 4 am. Overall that was below average experience. If you are going with family, we strongly recommend that you avoid this hotel for the following reasons:||||a) The hotel does not have any reservation policy. They simply ask you to turn up even if you do reserve in advance. ||||b) When we landed up with family, they simply said they do not have rooms and we can take a small room inside their kitchen and promised to move us to our rooms later afternoon. We checked in and went for our tour of Lavasa. When we returned, we were horrified to find that they said they do not have rooms and we will have to sleep in the room inside the kitchen. We showed them cockroaches and leaking taps.||||c) They offered to move us to another hotel which we refused and took the room offered to us as it was very late in the night.||||d) To our horror, we had loud banging on the door at 3am and police walked into the room.
