I have stayed with Hostel99 & Urban Nomads also, comparing both here: Cleanliness: Hostel99 is clean & neat. It's missing in the case of Urban Nomads. Open Space: Not available with Hostel99. A nice and bigger open space is available at Urban Nomads with River view/adjacent to it. Washing Machine: Hostel99 charges additional Rs. 250 for one time use, while at Urban Nomads it's free to use. Iron: Available at both places. Locker: Hostel99 takes an additional Rs 200 deposit for tiny, 10 rupee lock and key. Urban Nomads does not keep any deposit. Outside Food: Not allowed with Hostel99. Allowed with Urban Nomads. Group Party (also with alcohol/smoking): Hostel99 will not be appropriate. Urban Nomads will be a better choice, you will enjoy it. Washrooms: Hostel99 has clean washrooms, Urban Nomads not, shower is also missing in Urban Nomads. Reception: Professional at Hostel99. With Urban Nomads mostly reception is missing. Caretaker: At both places they are very kind and helpful. Open Kitchn Access: Hostel99 kitchen is not open, you can order and get the things. Whereas in Urban Nomads you get an open Kitchen facility with all required stuff, you can cook your food. Indoor Games/Extra activities: Good indoor setup is available with Hostel99 like table tennis, Carrom, Gitar, Books etc. Whereas in Urban Nomads no indoor activities. Feeling those post-stay blues? Well, I've got the scoop on the place I used to call home! 🏡
First things first, it's not just a place to stay; it's a lifestyle upgrade. If you're here for work, they've got the coolest co-work space where your productivity skyrockets faster than you can say "deadline." 🚀💼 And let's not forget the cozy independent rooms that make burning the midnight oil a breeze.
If you're here for higher studies, brace yourself for some serious fun time! 🎓🎉 From table tennis showdowns to intense chess matches, badminton rallies, and even a bit of carrom chaos – they've got it all. Oh, did I mention the TV? It's loaded with every major OTT subscription known to humankind! Movie nights, anyone? 🍿🎬
And when hunger strikes (which it always does), the kitchen is a culinary haven. A menu that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance, courtesy of the lovable aunty who cooks with a sprinkle of magic and a whole lot of love. It's like dining at your favorite aunt's place – pure bliss! 👩🍳💖
But the real MVPs? The amazing folks who run this show. They aren't just business contacts; they're family architects. They've mastered the art of making guests feel like part of a big, happy clan. 🤗👨👩👧👦
Just a heads up – it's all rainbows and unicorns as long as you play by the rules and keep those payments on time. Easy peasy, right? So, if you're ready for a stay that's more than just four walls, this is...
Read moreLived in an all female AC Dorm booked for 12 nights at 6308 bucks. I was told Koregaon Park is an expensive area. Perhaps they are charging for that and the wi-fi, because I was not here for the KP experience, just for a living space. Judging by that I find cons -- no lift, narrow stairway, no food included (not even the promised breakfast), prices for food on the higher side, you'll have to go down the stairs each time to refill your water bottle. The water in the shower ran out twice already and I'm here for just 4 days. Can't swiggy your desired food orders here during the weekdays and Saturday. They said they stopped the all inclusive food option coz guests were unhappy that food is not available in- premises on Sundays but made it payable extra for the other 6 days of the week. Maybe if I had paid for all inclusive meals, they would allow me to order Swiggy meals. At least one can go out to eat. The dorm rooms themselves have bunk beds suited for the lightly built and barely any room to sit in. The beds come with a lockable cabinet made to store personal luggage. So if you're looking to live in this area, maybe check other options too.
Edit: got a prompt revert and a call from Ankit to address my concerns. This is commendable on their part. Good service attitude displayed. Really appreciate the stress on...
