Hotel Rosewood Inn / Near By Railway Station Hotel / Best Hotel In Amritsar — Hotel in Punjab

I booked Fabhotel Rosewood Inn from MMT for 2 nights stay and I opted for family room. The room was quite small, congested and suffocating because there was no ventilation. After keeping 2 queen sized beds there is almost no space left to walk or stand in a 12x10' room. The beds and pillows were comfortable and bathroom was decently spaced, but there were no toiletries. Is this a special treatment for MMT customers? Although, breakfast was included in my package, but not tea because they charged for tea. There was no STB attached to the TV and we had to ask for it. How cheap!! They have very limited breakfast options. On Day 1 we ordered Aalu-Pyaz Paratha, but there was almost no filling in parathas and they were half-cooked. It was an insult to Parathas in Punjab. On Day 2 we wanted to avoid Parathas and ordered Bread-Omlett because there was no other option, but the Omlet was salt-free. At all times tea was good. Both reception and service staff needs a large dose of smile on their face. Perhaps the only best feature of this hotel is it vicinity to Amritsar Railway Station which is at walking distance. But the hotel is situated at the dead end of a street and there are no signboards outside, so even local people don't know about the hotel. Verdict: Will I prefer to go back to this...

Beware this is the worst hotel in Punjab YOU ARE WARNED. Please don't stay at ROSEWOOD INN. This is why I am telling you all this. They don't have parking facility but in their amenities it is mentioned and once you arrive at their hotel they tell you to park the vehicle roadside and say it's completely safe (what a joke). They fool their customers by using this tactic and I lost nearly 3 hours due to their foolishness after reaching Amritsar via Delhi by road after an exhausting 10 hour drive. The owner of this hotel is a blatant liar who even after realising that he is at fault wasn't ready to initiate the refund and even cut my call twice when I requested him that I am traveling with my mother and she is very old and is feeling very weak and tired after the journey. Although I did get the refund after taking with MMT executives and explaining to them what was happening, but still this idiotic person the owner was still lying that I am the one who is not willing to park the vehicle and they are providing with parking facility. Guys as a fellow traveller I don't want you to lose your piece of mind and have the worst possible start to your journey.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Do not trust the owner. We found Cockroaches 2 on the bed and 3 on the floor. Hotel staff blamed us for the Table Glass Breakage which we had not done. The table was covered under the window curtains because of which we did not notice the breakage during our stay. In this room, aged ladies were staying, if we had broken the glass, why would we hide the stuff that could hurt the ladies? My daughter who is 3 years old was also roaming around the room. We asked them to show the broken pieces to us and there was confusion between the staff and owner about whether the glass was broken or just cracked. We didn't have much time to argue about this because we had to catch our train “Golden Temple” towards Mumbai at 6:55 PM so we had to give him compensation for which we were not supposed to.
