There are 2 parts to the entire review. One extremely bad and another extremely good.
Let me tell you about the hotel:-
A very stressful stay at Pride Ananya. Surprised to see Pride group not able to manage a property where luxury can go along with Safety. Out of around 84 rooms, only one lift operational for guests and one which works as service lift for room service.
Most dirty place, very uneven floors ( as at many places water on the floor because of leakage in duct seen across the aisle and any aged person can trip down if they don’t see the spilled waterr)
Very poor discipline which makes or allows guests to keep used food trays outside the room making the entire area full of bad smell.
The staff on the reception are very rude don’t feel they are responsible for any issue a guest gets it to them.
You complaint on house keeping and they say it’s not their problem. You tell them on room service they say they are not responsible of the same.
The basic etiquette’s that they are the face of pride is not known to them nor they are trained. Very bad attitude of Ms Baisaki ( nothing personal but handling of agitated guests is not her forte as she aggravates the situation.
If you are above 50 years of age ( I am 65 years) please avoid this hotel as you have to climbs one floor and then walk around 50 steps to have the lift for your respective floors.
The front manager will listen to you and say sorry to every thing and probably help you to get connected with the GM
NOW LETS SEE THE GOOD PART:-
The only consolation you have is the excellent staff they have in their dining hall or for breakfast and lunch.
The cuisine is excellent. A very personalised touch is given to all guests by the entire staff.
The Chef himself comes to meet you to understand your special needs.
The manager Mr Jyoti is a genuine professional. His trained staff are excellent.
Ms Parbati gets 10/10 for making each requirement of the guest whether it’s a child or an aged person so personalised that you feel pampered being their and don’t miss your home. Ms Parbati is full of positivity which makes the entire staff with her more vibrant and which literally makes you forget all the issues you have of the stay
So you want a good restaurant, go to Pride Ananya, but if you want to stay, please avoid as you risk your stay with just one lift and the flooring always wet...
Read moreWe travelled to puri through group booking by WinVip holidays of Ahmedabad and stayed three nights from 3 rd to 5th Feb2025 It was horrible experience in a allocated room by hotel Due to clog in bathroom drainage line it was terribly smelling , toilet seat and wash basin had many yellow patches, shower was leaking So we Called room cleaning people and notified all these issues including Toiletries issues Room cleaning staff came and with great difficulty they fixed all the issues with lots of struggle In a 4 star hotel do you expect your entry in a room with these many issues with terrific smell?? I mean cleanliness was major concern in this room / hotel So hotel manager came personally & took complete details of bathroom related matter and was helpful We had requested special food with out garlic and onion but it wasn’t ready to serve when we reached for our dinner after 8.00pm Waited another 20-30 minutes and we got only one vegetable and Dal along with rice and roti and after another 15 minutes they brought second vegetable and by that time half of the special food requested people were done with the dinner Next day in the morning breakfast we were struggling to get Jain food ( non garlic and onion free item) Very limited fruit items Only papaya and watermelon Second day we got only Khichdi, plain potato vegetable ( reheated in microwave) and roti in a dinner Third night we had a worst items in our dinner so we called tour manager and he was involved to resolve food item issue So we waited for about 20 minutes and got two vegetables with dal and roti So we struggled all three days for our dinner menu items On last day during morning breakfast many items were not ready to serve till 7.45am So it was totally messed up and unorganized Good part in this hotel was reception staff , manager ,house keeping & room service staff was humble...
Read moreOur group - four families along with kids, stayed in this Hotel for 3 days in Mid October 2024 for Shri Jagannath Puri pilgrimage/yatra. The stay was excellent, rooms were neat, bright and spacious with excellent lighting, very comfortable beds, and well equipped with sofa, centre table, study table/chair, wardrobe, minibar etc, and with good central air conditioning. The rooms we got had spacious balconies with extra armchairs and centre table. The rooms had attached bathrooms in excellent conditions, well stocked with necessary toiletries/kits, and hygienically maintained. The hotel has a large well maintained swimming pool accessible from mezzanine/first floor. The housekeeping was excellent overall. The restaurant staff was superb - very courteous - and had an excellent attitude to serve the customers. The service was excellent and quick. The food was delicious with good taste, quantity was adequate - we never had to think about any other place for dinner once we had dinner in their restaurant. One of the family was fasting for Navratri and they also served the Jain food to them. The hotel had an extra wide menu-spread for breakfast with multiple varieties from north and south Indian cuisines, delicious, thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying to start your day - it far exceeded the expectations. The hotel has a large dedicated parking area by the side and our tempo traveller had no issues with parking space every evening. The location is superb, some 5-10 mins walk to Golden Beach - an excellent private sea beach with nominal entry fees, proper shower and change rooms etc for families - and that was the great part of our stay. All in all, a best value for money we could have expected at the price point that we negotiated. Will surely recommend this...
