What do i say about this lovely food outlet.
Clean , fast , tasty and fresh.
Well those who know me know it very well that is very difficult for any food to pamper my tastebuds.
Being a connoisseur travelling the length and breathe of the country to pamper my taste buds I feel awesome comfort in the chinese being served here.
Having being born in Kolkata and still living here the chinese food is Kolkata is just awesome . I was initially skeptical of trying chinese in Lord Jagganaths Puri city. Nonetheless being walking distance from my hotel I decided to try the food here.
Little did I realize I actually walked into one of the resturants of Chinatown I felt I was in the city of Joy Kolkatas Some resturant for it's ambience.
Lucky me I was alone so I got a table asap else there was a huge waiting.
I decided to have a warm bowl of Thai soup ( pic attached ) boy it was awesome with the right amount of thickness and texture. The chicken abd prawns were not overloaded which would overpower the taste of the soup. Next I order chilli lemon chicken (half portion ) it was smashing soft tender chicken , very less egg coated almost like no coating , tossed in a pan with lemon juice a bit of green chilli's and a ting of garlic it was a die for. I ordered the classic egg fried rice my favourite comfort food ( half portion) it was cooked very well however I think it lacked the finishing touch of being tossed well ( Nonetheless it was a 8/10 ).
Guys note they have a half portion which is not mentioned in the menu but the server was kind enough to inform me seeing me alone and thought i would struggle to have a full portion.
Even they half portions were good fillings. Lastly when I went to wash my hands they have kept towels along the washbasin just to soak the dripping water so that you dont feel yuck or the water doesnt drip below on your footware . This showed how much they gave respect to cleanliness.
I would again and again go back to this resturant if I were in Puri the next time.
All the best. Keep up the good work.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Chung Wah, a Chinese restaurant located in Puri. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The restaurant had an elegant and modern feel, with comfortable seating and subdued lighting.
The staff members were friendly and attentive throughout my meal, always on hand to refill my water glass or recommend dishes. Speaking of the food, I have to say that Chung Wah offers some of the best Chinese cuisine I have ever tasted.
I started my meal with wonton soup, which was delicious and had a rich broth with fresh ingredients. For my main course, I ordered the golden fried prown in starter chilly prown and mix fried rice. The chilly prown was cooked to perfection with a spicy sauce that packed a punch but wasn't overwhelming, and the mix fried rice was fragrant and flavorful.
I was also impressed by the portion sizes - the dishes were enough to satisfy my appetite without feeling overly full.
Overall, I highly recommend Chung Wah for anyone looking for a high-quality Chinese restaurant in Puri. The combination of attentive service, delicious food, and elegant atmosphere make it stand out from other restaurants in the area. I will definitely be returning for...
