Disclaimer : a very long review ahead.
So we found this place called âCasa Blancaâ or what the locals called it âThe Sierraâ on booking.com and I would call it my best steal deal till date.
Locality- the hotel is almost 2 kms far from both the popular scenic places lake Pichola and lake fateh sagar, it is placed nearby to every tourist spot. The hotel has a very friendly vibes the entire place was booked while we stayed there and the guests mostly included families along with couples and friend groups.
Rooms - so we booked a deluxe room with a balcony, rooms are very spacious, clean and comes with all the necessities. It also included a refrigerator which I was surprised with , bathroom is also again very clean , geyser worked properly and so did the shower. Since the hotel isnât located near any lake or hill as such the view from the balcony is okaish but you can still chill and enjoy there.
Staff/management - the entire hotel staff was very sweet and courteous, they were polite with every request raised and frequently asked if anything needed to be cleaned etc. the people of Udaipur made my vacation 11/10
Parking - the hotel offers a parking spot exactly in front of the property and there is always a watchman there who is always willing you to help with the entire ordeal haha
Breakfast - we booked the room along with an added breakfast meal , the food was amazing and had a variety of dishes to choose from including drinks , desserts, etc.The restaurant staff was again very polite and sweet .
Extra amenities - the hotel has a decent pool which was very clean at the time of our stay we enjoyed our time by the pool.they also had a shower/changing room by the pool itself
Restaurant - the hotel has their own rooftop restaurant which goes by the name soul , this is popular spot for tourists. The food is amazing combined with live singing. I wonât call the place super expensive as such but averagely priced but you will surely have an amazing experience
Conclusion- we stayed there for 4 nights and not once we felt any inconvenience, I would surely recommend this place to everyone visiting Udaipur. The price you paid is nothing to the experience we had. We paid for a balcony room along with...
Read morePros â Comfortable mid sized rooms with Good ac and fans, large and clean toilets and comfortable beds Great breakfast with variety of north Indian , south Indian food items as well as eggs/parathas/ placed to order Reasonable rate â we booked deluxe rooms at Rs 2300 breakfast inclusive, and the above package was very fair at that rate Cons â The main problem with this hotel is the location. It is quite out of the main tourist areas and in a dark area in quiet part of town. travel to and from the main areas can be quite an issue. This is more so as the rickshaws and ola drivers over charge and there is no fixed rate. This can be quite stressful and confusing to most tourists Secondly there is construction work going on in the adjoining side and this can prove quite demotivating and mood downer when we arrive at the hotel The construction work throws up so much dust and definitely it would not be wise to use the swimming pool The in house restaurant is quite tasty but very very expensive ( though they give a 20% discount to room guests) There is no lake nearby anywhere and pls donât get carried away with name saying lake city. In conclusion if you are getting the hotel at a cheap rate and room comfort and breakfast is very important you can stay in this hotel otherwise I would recommend you stay at a lake side guest house hotel adjoining lake pichola as you can really enjoy the experience of Udaipur...
Read moreDespite my initial optimism about the property in the renowned hospitality state, my experience fell far short of expectations. The service was disappointing, with repeated calls for basic amenities like hand towels. Even a thoughtful gesture for my brother's birthday - cake and roses - turned into a letdown, as the cake was not only inedible but emitted an unpleasant odor. Sleep was elusive due to the constant noise from the restaurant above, and the promised clean swimming pool was marred by persistently muddy water. The only bright spot was the courteous and helpful restaurant staff. Unfortunately, my four-day stay ended on a sour note when a simple request for a slight checkout extension due to illness was met with an insistence on a full day charge. A stay marred by lapses but highlighted by the resilience of the...
