Open Affair Rooftop Restaurant (Lakeview Restro) - Best Cafe Restro in Udaipur — Restaurant in Rajasthan

recently visited this Open affair rooftop restaurant in Udaipur with a Zomato booking, but unfortunately, our reservation was denied upon arrival. The staff promised to adjust the bill with a discount, but we were short on time and decided to stay and dine.

Sadly, the experience was disappointing. The staff seemed inexperienced and unprofessional, struggling to manage customer requests. We faced issues with menu items being unavailable initially, only to be told they were available after a 10-minute wait.

The food itself was quite average and did not meet expectations. The only redeeming quality was the view of the nearby palace from the rooftop, which was truly beautiful.

It’s frustrating when a restaurant offers Zomato dining options but fails to honor them. If they don’t intend to accommodate such bookings, they should remove them from the app to avoid misleading customers. Overall, I would not recommend this place based on...

So much delay in service. We reached there at 9:00 pm. And gave order at 9:15 pm. Our first order was delivered on time. But the quantity is less so we had to place second order again. We gave second order around 9:45 pm. And the guy who was serving us told us that it'll take around 20 mins to prepare our order, so we were like 20 mins is okay. But our order was deliverd at 11pm. There were others also so the cook was preparing there food but we wasted our 2 hours for only one dish. Our experience was worst. There was so much delay in service. Amazing food with They have a very beautiful view of pichola lake alongside tak lake palace, city ..Best place for small private party & family get together..The food was quite good, waiters were very attentive, and super nice atmosphere. Plus it’s all at an affordable price.I planned a small birthday party which included around 4 people.. the staff made us a special arrangements.
