Hotel Laxmi Palace — Hotel in Rajasthan

I was visiting udaipur for college lecturer exam had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Laxmi Palace, Udaipur. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help me and my family. They were extremely accommodating and I would say it was a home away from home. We arrived late at hotel, nearly 10:00 pm, and just got served with freshly prepared dinner. The sevice was exceptional and all staff as well. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Udaipur. The main market area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the Hotel Laxmi Palace offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.

During our travel we were skeptic in booking hotels at new place. After lil bit of googling we found many hotels in proximity to Udaipur Main Railway Station (within 1 km). But some rooms were not affordable and others were not satisfactory from service point of view. Lastly, we found this and booked two non AC rooms which were clean, ventilated and vaccinated. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, redolent with fresh soothing air and light.

And how can I forget to mention the Masala Chai prepared by owner himself, was heavenly and unbeatable. The owner is altruistic, kind hearted person and very helpful by nature. It was a overall super satisfying experience that took my heart in a single draw.

IMPORTANT The staff was caught stealing our stuff like chargers,cash and were stalking us simuntaneously....very shitty service and disgusting washrooms with literally no jet spray and handwash...they shouted at the customers when they asked for literally just water bottles...all these ratings of 4.1 or 4.2 or whatever you might see are forced...they took customers phone and forcefully gave these reviews covering up the things... They said that cc tv is not working when we didnt found our stuff they denied to check the cc tv and dude this is not a good behaviour when you are owning a hotel

There was no pption for room cleaning Then we asked for our rooms to get cleaned they ignored it and when after several requests when they did ....sudden disappearence of our stuffs like money(cash) stared happening and we even caught they casually sitting on our beds and scrolling instagram reels ignoring us when we asked them to leave...

Absolutely terrible we ended up calling the police with item like silver jewelery, more than 5000rs and chargers were stolen and...

My recent stay at Lakshmi Palace, Udaipur was truly delightful. Although categorized as a 3-star property, the overall experience was far beyond expectations. The hotel maintains exceptionally clean and well-appointed rooms, providing both comfort and convenience.

The staff deserves special appreciation for their professionalism and hospitality. Every request was attended to promptly, and their courteous demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is also commendable—conveniently close to the city’s major attractions while still offering a peaceful environment.

Dining at the property was another highlight, with freshly prepared meals that reflected authentic Rajasthani flavors. The rooftop view, particularly at sunset, added an extra charm to the experience.

Overall, Lakshmi Palace combines value, comfort, and personalized service in a manner that exceeds expectations for its category. I would highly recommend it to both leisure and business travelers...
