We recently stayed at this hotel in Udaipur with our friends, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all of us. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the food – every meal was a delightful treat. The dishes were authentic and packed with flavors that made our dining experience memorable.
The staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist, which added to the overall satisfaction of our stay. The hotel’s location was convenient for exploring the city, and its proximity to key attractions made our sightseeing plans seamless.
However, we faced significant inconvenience with the parking provisions. The hotel has very limited dedicated parking slots at the basement, and the allocation works on a first-come, first-served basis. This became a major issue during our stay. For instance, if you take your vehicle out to visit tourist attractions and return later in the day, there’s no guarantee you’ll have a parking spot available. If another guest arrives with a vehicle during your absence, the parking space is allocated to them. This lack of a proper system for managing parking slots was disappointing and caused unnecessary hassle, especially given Udaipur’s bustling tourist scene.
We hope the management considers addressing this issue, as it detracts from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Despite this drawback, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent service and delicious food – just be prepared for some challenges with...
Read moreThis place is an ABSOLUTE CRAP.
The Room which was provided to me had a torn bedsheet - looked like it has not been changed after the previous guest, non working shower in a dirty bathroom and window was full of insects. Everything is outdated here. You can see even the key is torn. I mean it's a hotel or some kind of bad joke is being played on all the Guests.
The room had a very pungent smell.
Don't be fooled by the pictures which you see on the internet or the reviews (All are FAKE) You can see the attached pictures and decide for yourself. They are SHOCKING.
There were no toiletries in the room so I called the reception for the same. After calling three times I went straight to the reception and got them personally.
Nevertheless, this place has an achievement also. It has the slowest internet on the planet. It takes you back to the 2G era. Truly - How Nostalgic this feels.
There were only a few guests in the hotel and whole property was empty. Literally no one was there except a few guests. Even the Guests who were there were complaining regarding the same things which I have mentioned earlier. In the end they said - In logon ko to kuch kehna hi bekar hai. Inko sun na hi nahin hai. "Hopeless People"
My Advice :- Spend a little more and choose some other property. There are way better properties than this in Udaipur (In all aspects). TRUST ME - You will...
Read moreMy stay at the Phoenix - Unmatched Comfort hotel was unfortunately far from the promised experience. The condition of the washroom was my first disappointment; it had not been cleaned properly prior to my arrival, which is a basic expectation from any establishment. Further compounding the issue was a non-functional flush, a critical oversight that should never occur in a hospitality setting. The room's air conditioning unit was another source of discomfort, producing a constant, loud noise that made it difficult to relax or sleep peacefully. Additionally, the staff's service left much to be desired. It became evident during my stay that the staff lacked adequate training, as they seemed unprepared to address these issues effectively, contributing to a frustrating experience overall. This visit was a letdown, and it's clear that significant improvements are necessary for the Phoenix hotel to live up to its name of...
