I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dzongkar Gangtok for three nights and four days, and I must say that the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that lasted throughout my entire stay.

All hotel staff ( from reception to checkin to room service to housekeeping) went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. Whether it was recommending local attractions, arranging transportation, or simply providing information about the hotel's amenities, they were knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

One aspect that truly stood out was the attention to detail in the hotel's service. From the impeccably clean rooms to the personalized touches, it was evident that every effort was made to make guests feel welcome and at home. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

What a horrible experience.PLEASE NOTE THE PHOTOS ON THE SITES ARE ABSOLUTELY DECEIVING .The experience started immediately after entering the room...|1) The Veiw from the window......of a toilet...the room was located on the first floor.No rooms available on asking since the whole hotel was booked by some tourist company||2) Next we entered the washroom the toilets were unclean , fresh towels were not available||3) After this we decide to rest after a long long journey and lift the blanket to see dirty bedsheets with dirt and hair all over...Had to call the housekeeping to change all the bedsheets .On asking they kept on insisisting that those were the fresh bedcovers....also mentioned that its a family room and not many guests come in this room.||4) Breakfast was to be served in the room and the restaurant wasn't available for us as the hotel was booked including the cafeteria.||5) Breakfast was not served as they were able to provide only after 8:30 am .We had to leave at 8 am so had to look for food outside.||6) morning we get up and there was no water.|So got very late to leave for our destination.|The staff tried to help but unfortunately the situations were out of their control.|Please note: the breakfast included in the package is not a buffet breakfast but a fixed platter.|Attached picutres are of the veiw from...

Sometimes a single word is sufficient to describe everything and here the words "outstanding and excellent" perfectly describe this hotel considering the quality of the room ( Bed, Blankets Towel, pillows are excellent ), bathroom, service, location, toiletries (some of which are expensively branded), interiors and modern amenities. Even You can't find more than it with the rooms of Rs 6000-7000 available in MG Marg or nearby.  I will certainly recommend the delux suit room. The view from the room is marvelous and it's almost on Mg Marg, meaning 100-metre walking distance from the midpoint of Mg Marg and more consistently, it's not on the downhill or upperhill but the straight road. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gsngtok. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early, at like 9 a.m. We got to the hotel super early and I didn’t want to wait. So this was a big plus.
