I'm very fond of triptis since my early days and so is my son, we visit the place regularly but today I was very annoyed and surprised by the outlet service below Domino's. I ordered some items along with coffee for me and my son to my surprise the girl in the counter signaled me to take it , it took me by surprised as I had just visited 2days back when all my orders were placed to me at the table by one of the waiters. Since my son had ordered more so I requested the guy in the counter if the remaining items could be packed but to my dismay the girl in the counter refused to pack the items and pushed a box towards me and asked my son to pack the items by ourself. The counter guy felt embarrassed, I believe Tripti is a household name for Gangtok but it's loosing its popularity due to its unethical employees similar behavior has happened at the new market Outlet too. I used to love triptis but .. today I am writing this review with a very heavy heart as I wanted to place an order for a very special occasion ... I wanted to order a cake for my father's birthday.. n wanted to pay for it myself.. n since I stay away because of wrk ... I told the guy dat please wrap it up n I will send my dad only to receive as they do not deliver , which is understandable ... But the guy said they don't use any means of online payment mode... I requested him as I din't want my dad to know about it all .. but the guy at triptis Deorali was so rude.. he started talking to me in a very harsh tone n told me dat I am not willing to understand him n that I am forcing.. I had just asked him once if he cud manage anything...(I wud've understood it even if he was a Lil polite) This makes me never want to enter dat place ever again... An employee is a very important reflection of a brand's image .. n this guy... Just closed...

The cake shop has a good variety of cakes to choose from . There are present beautiful colourful menagerie of cakes along with patties and other fried foods. The ambience is pretty with seating areas for people to sit and have their food. The black forest cake and the cream rolls are a must try. Even the mousse is great. Loved the cakes and also the ambience. The staff is quite friendly and polite . It is located at the beginning of mg marg and has a great crowd purchasing from this place.
