AGR Holiday Home — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Apart from the fact that u need to drive 34kms from main city to narrowest lanes of hills, without any sign board or without anyone to assist, host is the most rude and greedy lady i have come across.||I did advance full payment but aftr one hour of checking in, host Janet Albert asked her maids to throw us out and let someone else in.. she cited miscommunication as an excuse. She wasn't present herself at the time of check-in, had booked same room for 4different people thru different portals, person who had paid more was allowed.||We were gals who had travelled for 7hrs and reached that out of no where place n was asked to vacate and deal with booking portal only.||Language and tone was so rude but as soon as she realised that we can pay nice money, she even offered her room to stay, whereas initially her words were.. madam not my problem.||||We had to vacate without any replacement,money is still stuck, was out on roads checking and calling every hotel for next 7hrs due to long weekend, it was raining, too cold and GuestHouser and Janet Albert made sure our trip should be memorable one due to negative reasons.||||So much mental harassment, i am filing a suit against the booking portal as well as the lady. Anyone.. better stay in ur vehicle or on road, but do not go to this stupid place.. dunno wen u will...

Very very worst customer experience. Food is very very expensive [1 kg of chicken Rs.750/- another place (my space holiday) i had stayed 3 weeks ago, for the same 1kg they charged Rs.600/- and Tea Rs.20/- but other places Rs.15/-]. Quality and Quantity of the food is very bad. They do charge head count as well as individual items, attached bill for the reference. Land lady is very adamant and she thinks she is the only person hosting guest houses in this area, moreover she is the cook too. You can't even walk around and see places or do morning walk. No kids play area and our bad luck we had seen snake next to flower pot (may be this can be ignorable becoz of hill station). Except room was kind of clean nothing else is positive. They do advertise free breakfast but only in papers, parking free but you can't walk if you park 2 cars. Very very basic budgeted (yes, no towels or any other items can be expected). Overall it's not recommend for family with kids...

I checked in on the11th of July 2018 and stayed there for three days with my family that includes my 2 kids(2 yrs and 4 yrs) nd my in-laws.Agr Holiday Home is a wonderful and cost effective place to stay in Coonoor.It had a beautiful and well maintined garden which was much enjoyed by my kids.This place also had a beautiful view with a serene environment.The rooms were big and spacious and most importantly clean.The owner of the place Mrs.Albert was very hospitable,she also prepared the food for us which was delicious and the prices were also reasonable, her "Biriyani" was extraordinary.I would definitely suggest this place for my family friends, and would like to come back here for our...
