The only pros: This cafe is photogenic and so is their food. That's all.
Cons: PLEASE READ IT COMPLETLY
A MONKEY POOPED on the side table and till the time we ate there, it was quite stinking all around and still the owner didn't bother to clean the table. Mind that, she noticed that dirt twice. See the monkey pooped on the table it can't be controlled but if I had been at her place I would have cleaned that table first.
I heard her talking to some customers saying that she gets so busy with customers well in that case, she must focus on hygiene.
The worst part is, that a little girl who came later there with her parents to eat there accidentally put her hand on that dirt and she cleaned that hand with her dress. Her parents were placing the order on the counter. Well, they saw that the table was dirty and didn't sit there. The owner was aware of it but she didn't bother to wipe it off. BELIEVE me when I tell you that she didn't clean that table even when an old aunt came there to have iced tea.
My aunt didn't eat even a bite there as she felt that the owner wasn't bothered about hygiene at all. Had we not ordered already we would have left immediately after that incident. Well, my aunt was right about it because my cousins and I fell sick after having food here and my aunt wasn't. We know the reason.
Secondly, we didn't order aligo pasta there but the one who took the order forced us to have it on us. We didn't even eat it a bit but paid in full. It was extremely annoying.
So if you are concerned only about photos of the food and yourself self feel free to go there. These days reviews are paid I feel because it’s a 4.6-star rating cafe and yet they did such a blunder. I would not recommend it for people who have small kids due to health concerns.
However, the owner was polite and humble.
Response to the owner:
We had told the woman wearing the green suit that we hadn’t ordered pasta yet she didn’t agree. We didn’t want to ruin the entire day. I understand that your business matters to you but please just for once think about why a customer lies. Neither do I have any issues with the cafe nor do I want to hurt you. Ma’am, taste could be subjective, I agree. However, that little girl incident mentioned by me isn't exaggerated at all as seen by my own eyes. Her mother even gave an eww expression upon finding the truth later. Well, I rest my words here. I respect your work but wasn't expecting a lie. I wish you loads of prosperity along...

1.My friend has posted a review separately but that doesn't mean I don't have the right to express myself. Please understand that.
I am someone who relates to small enterprises and tries to consciously opt for such businesses because of the service and ambience. So please don't justify bad service & attitude by blaming the customer and passing snide comments like "as professionals we are not allowed to laugh". You are a professional; so am I, and bad attitude cannot be a justification for anything. I am not trying to dismiss what you do but provide my experience as a feedback for you. And I am sure as "professionals", you know how to positively take some criticism.
1/02/24: This little eatery is located on Church Hill Road in Coonoor. Despite its charming exterior and pleasant music, I didn't have a very positive experience at this cafe. My order for two non-vegetarian pastas was delivered incorrectly. Above all, there was a lot of noise being made by the owner and a couple of their friends, which was really bothersome. They were noisy, showing a lack of concern for other customers. The overall unprofessionalism and unpleasant customer service made it difficult to enjoy our meal.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the birdhouse cafe in coonoor, and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience.
The cafe had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with warm lighting and comfortable seating arrangements that made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The decor was rustic and charming, with wooden tables and chairs, and tasteful artwork adorning the walls.
The menu was filled with a variety of delicious snacks and beverages, ranging from hot and cold coffees and teas to sandwiches, wraps, and pastries. I opted for a hot cappuccino and a freshly baked croissant, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of both.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure that my experience was as pleasant as possible. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to make recommendations based on my preferences
