A Stay to Remember… for All the Wrong Reasons!
If you’re looking for a place with a great view and an even greater test of patience, this villa in Ooty is perfect for you! The location? Beautiful. The hospitality? Let’s just say, I could’ve climbed the hills of Ooty, found a chicken, befriended it, and cooked my own soup before they brought ours. And when it finally did arrive? Raw, tasteless, and now I’m dealing with the aftermath of what I assume was an experimental dish on their part.
Plates? Oh no, those are luxuries. We weren’t even provided those. But the real cherry on top was discovering a creepy hidden room below, where they were mysteriously making chocolates. Because nothing says “relaxing vacation” like finding an unannounced underground operation beneath your stay! And when we asked? “Oh, that’s our people, totally safe.” Sure, very reassuring.
Now, for the best part—our “punishment” for having two extra guests. We had two extra people with us (which we had already informed them about to a guy in call ), and when we went to eat the so-called complimentary breakfast, this one guy suddenly stopped us. Right as we were about to pick up a plate, he goes, hold the breakfast No one eats until Madam arrives. Excuse me? We were all starving, but apparently, we had to wait for Madam’s grand entrance before we could touch the food. And when she finally showed up, instead of addressing the issue, she just went, Now I’m here, let’s talk. No concern that we hadn’t eaten, no apology—just more attitude. And then there was her bodyguard—this same guy, who had already made us wait, kept jumping into the conversation, adding unnecessary comments that no one asked for. Every time Madam spoke, he had to chip in, making the situation even worse. It felt less like a vacation and more like some bizarre power trip.
By the time we left, the only thing hotter than the Ooty tea was Madam’s attitude when we were settling the bill. If they could tone down the royalty complex and start treating guests like actual humans, this place might stand a chance. Until then, I suggest bringing your own cutlery, your own patience, and maybe even your own chef. There was one guy who stop

Our experience at this villa was nothing short of a disaster. While the location was undeniably beautiful, everything else about our stay was a complete letdown.
First and foremost, the service was appalling. The owner, Sindhu, was unwelcoming and dismissive, making us feel more like intruders than guests. Any concerns we raised were either ignored or met with hostility. Cleanliness was nonexistent—no soap, no shampoo, and even the bathroom drainage was clogged, leaving stagnant water. Pillow covers? Forget about it. The entire place felt neglected and unhygienic.
The food was another nightmare. Orders took forever, and when they finally arrived, the quality was terrible—sometimes even inedible. At one point, we were literally stopped from eating our breakfast until the owner decided to make her grand entrance. The hospitality (or lack thereof) was baffling, with staff more focused on enforcing arbitrary rules than actually taking care of guests.
Adding to the bizarre experience, we discovered a hidden room underneath the villa where they were mysteriously making chocolates. No prior information, no explanation—just an eerie, unmarked space beneath our accommodation.
To top it off, the place was significantly overpriced for the level of service provided. With zero hospitality, poor hygiene, and a blatant disregard for guest comfort, we strongly advise you to stay away from this villa. There are far better options in Ooty that won’t make you feel like you're part of a strange...
Read moreMy experience at this establishment was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite agreeing upon a rate for a family room suitable for six people and two children, the management, particularly Mr. Praveen, provided inadequate accommodations. We were charged extra for an additional bed, despite it being included in our initial agreement. Mr. Praveen's behavior was utterly reprehensible, characterized by degradation and discrimination, including discriminatory remarks based on our state of origin, likely exacerbated by his apparent intoxication. Furthermore, the dinner served was abysmal, reflecting the overall neglect and disregard for customer satisfaction. Adding insult to injury, Mr. Praveen continued to harass us even after we left, baselessly accusing us of stealing a hairdryer and threatening to involve the police. This absurd accusation was made despite the fact that the hairdryer was never provided in the first place, as confirmed by the staff during the check-out process. Such malicious and unfounded threats only serve to underscore the utter lack of professionalism and integrity exhibited by the management of this establishment. This experience was an unequivocal nightmare from start to finish, and I implore anyone considering staying here to heed this warning and seek accommodation elsewhere. Given single star since its required to post or else i would have given...
