We had high hopes when visiting Ruchi Bhavan, but unfortunately, it turned out to be underwhelming. The food was quite average — nothing stood out in terms of taste or presentation, and the variety was limited.

What really took away from the experience was the pathetic service. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, with long waiting times even for basic orders. There was no sense of hospitality, which made the entire meal feel rushed and poorly managed.

To add to the inconvenience, there’s no proper parking space, which is a real hassle, especially during peak hours.

A must n best option for pure veg South Indian food in Ooty. It's a newly opened restaurant so good service, good quality especially their 3 chutneys which they give with every dish are the best. Prices are also reasonable. Highly recommended compared to all other restaurants mentioned on Google. Do give it a try while visiting Botanical garden as it is the only one you'll find open in that area before 11am. We were 3 people, had 1 plate Idli, 1 plate Idli-Wada n 1 rava onion dosa.
