Worst experience in my life.....Booked through Goibibo....Actually the greenary showed in the picture attracts me to book the room....First of all i want to say, this is not an hotel as mentioned in their name board...Here you dont get any food from Amrutham Inn Hotel...If you want any good food, you may go to temple steps which is almost 1 km from here, for that you have to depend any auto.Going on to the reality,it is not an extraordinary Lodge for stay...I booked 2 Ac rooms for Rs.1300/- each(inclusive of tax) .The location is very silent bt there is no bus available from lodge to temple steps because almost 1 km from here and 2 km from Palani Railway station..so people who have their own car/jeep have convenient in this place to stay..Next thing is their hospitality...The person who sit at the reception (photo attached) is dont know how to behave the guest..very rude character.we dont expect any 'Kumbidil' from him bt atleast expect some sort of good response from him....He behave like these rooms are granted by him for us at free of cost. Going on to the room capacity...It is not a spacious one bt a normal room having good bed,A.C and LED tv with Arasu Cable...Bath room drainage is not at all good one....one more thing is you may get Mirinda,Sprite,Mineral water from there bt they cahrged extra...
Read moreWe had booked Hotel Amirtham Inn seeing reviews on tripadvisor. And yes, the reviewers had guided us right, just as they had in the past.||||The Amirtham Inn is located a little apart from the bustle of the temple town. It is still close enough to walk down, or take a rikshaw to the center. But you will be glad that you are escaping the noise and the crowds. It is a calm and peaceful location. ||||The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean too. We were on the ground floor and it was very convenient. There is car parking available. You can order food too, though we did not have any from there. The coffee was good.||||The best part of this hotel is its helpful staff. We had Ajith in the front office check us in, and he was very helpful. Shiva was on duty in the morning, and his advice really helped us in getting to the shrine easily. Thank you both of you...||||Do pick this hotel if you are staying overnight in Palani, it is perfect for the...
Read moreWe stayed at Hotel Amirtham Inn at Palani for an overnight stay as we were travelling from Rameshwaram to Kochi. The hotel is nestled in a cosy nook at walking distance from the Dandayuthapani Temple at Palani, as well as the ropeway and winch stations. Autos are also available in to carry people to these areas. The hotel is excellently maintained in terms of service as well as facilities, and gives travellers great value for money. The most important aspect of the hotel was without a doubt the service given by the caretaker/manager, Mr. Shiva, who was always ready to help. We had forgotten one of our bags at the hotel and proceeded from Palani towards Kochi via Pollachi. Mr. Shive gave us a call and offered to courier the same to us at the appropriate address. Overall, we had an excellent, relaxing and memorable stay at Hotel Amirtham Inn Palani. If you plan your trip to Palani, this should be the place to stay during your...
