Hotel Nigress — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

This Property is located as soon as you Finished your Airpin Bends and getting into Yelagiri. So no problem in locating this property. ||||We checked in the Hotel at about 4 PM and got the room immediately. But the rooms seemed not so clean and asked the room service to change the sheets/mats/etc. But they did it immediately without any hesitation.||||We rested for a while and went out to the restaurant of the same property and had tea/snacks. You should try their Onion Pakoda with tea. I found food rate is ok for a hill station.||||There is not much to see around if you are not a trekker, just visit the Park/Visit Lake and Natural Park/Go around in your car to cover the entire Yelagiri.||||The Hotel provided a 20% discount coupon to use at WildZone. They have got ATVs,PaintBall Guns,Bow and Arrow and few other Games. Worth to Try if you feel bored sitting around.||||We ate fruits mostly and had only 2 times food from Hotel Nigress other than their complimentary Breakfast. It again depends on the head count and you may sometimes asked to walk to their adjacent property "Emarald Dove" to have your Break Fast a Buffet Spread style. You can opt for room service too, but its charged extra 10% + Service 10%.||||Toilet cum bath is clean and got both Western and Normal style. Hot water available from Sonar systems 24 Hrs. Compare to other restaurants food in Nigress is better in taste. But they are just looting our pockets by charging so high. I admit that food in hill stations and tourists places are bit high but here its too costly. And quantity wise its too low. For example ordered Gobi Manchurian , It has hardly 4 small pieces of cauliflower. And also waiting time here is too high, for each dishes, it takes 30 minutes to reach you, though there is no rush at that time. A set poori take 30 minutes to reach our table in morning.

They charged 500ml coca cola for 50rs, Its 12rs higher than MRP. On asking the reason for it, The cashier said with a smile on his face, "Buy it from next shop you can save your money. We charge more than MRP only". That smile says "They are more confident in thinking customers are idiots, that how much ever we charge, they are gonna come to us".

Think about your hardly earned money and precious time before going to this restaurant and ruin your holiday trip.
